Beta Patch 4243 Now Live
The latest Hearthstone patch is now live in both North America and Europe. Alongside a fix for the bug which was preventing some players from participating in The Arena, there were also some nerfs to the Mage abilities which make use of the Freeze mechanic. Cone of Cold, Blizzard, and Frost Nova have all had their mana cost increased by one.

Disenchant Timeframe for Updated Cards
Much like in previous patches, the disenchant cost has been increased to the crafting cost of non-basic (can't craft) cards which have been changed. The disenchant cost of the following cards will be increased until January 2, 2014.
Quote from ZeriyahWe've made some changes to certain Expert cards recently, and the amount of dust you get from disenchanting them is temporarily increased so it is equal to the amount of dust originally needed to craft them.
The following cards will be disenchantable for their full value until 1/2/2014:
- Unleash the Hounds (Value: 40 / 400 Arcane Dust)
- Flame Imp (Value: 40 / 400 Arcane Dust)
- Argent Commander (Value: 100 / 800 Arcane Dust)
- Cone of Cold (Value: 40 / 400 Arcane Dust)
- Blizzard (Value: 100 / 800 Arcane Dust)
ManaCast Episode 16
The sixteenth episode of ManaCast aired yesterday, and now the VoD is up! This week the ManaGrind crew discussed the upcoming Berlin Hearthstone Tournament, their thoughts on the new ranking system, the state of the meta, and the decklists from this past weekend. The reason for the large patch appears to be because:
I hope they'll figure something out the in the future which doesn't require you to redownload entire file containers when they update something in them.
