As is tradition by now on HearthPwn, the first day we scour the web for lists of the best and most fun decks the pros have been playing around the release of the expansion. These are the best Whizbang's Workshop decks that we found, with the common factor being that the pros had fun playing these decks. Check them out and see if you do too!
What is also somewhat of a tradition is that not every class is represented and that some feel overrepresented. This is just the nature of competitive games, where people flock to the new fancy and usually strong decks. If a class has no or little interesting or strong new options, it often gets ignored somewhat in favor of the new hot class archetypes.
Rogue
During reveal season, it seemed like Sonya Waterdancer and Sandbox Scoundrel might combine into a deadly combo and that this was going to be super broken from Day 1. And it turns out our suspicions were correct, but luckily for us Blizzard built the solution to this problem into the card design: Sonya's animations are so slow that you likely struggle to finish your combo turns.
And that's not even the only good Rogue deck. There's the Draw Rogue archetype too!

Warlock
We go from one deck where you are just waiting to see if your opponent can kill you on time, to...a deck that does the same thing, but in a new and exciting way! When Wheel of DEATH!!! was introduced many speculated that it would either be a dead card or someone would find some utterly broken way to use it. Seems like NoHandsGamer felt that was a challenge because he came up with this deck, which he piloted to Rank 9 with a 60% win rate. It is early in the expansion, but that's still noteworthy.

Paladin
The solution to dealing with particular decks unstoppably killing you, is to just kill the opponent faster. Enter Paladin. NAGON seems to have enjoyed their time playing this Aggro Paladin deck, so maybe it is the solution for you too!

Death Knight
We go from the Holy Knights to the Unholy Knights. If you like to play with dead things, then this Death Knight deck might be something for you. This deck came from Chinese player mlYanming through the twitter of RWBBYROSE, who does an amazing job sharing decks from the maligned Chinese HS community, playing in other regions through no fault of their own.

Shaman
We have goo here with a deck too, this Shaman creation, and they weren't the only one liking Shaman in this expansion. We have this Nature Shaman deck from CLARKHELLSCREAM too, who specifically called out the interaction between Shudderblock and Dryscale Deputy which provides 4 copies of a card, which might give you all the burn you could possibly need.

Hunter
Class specialists in Hearthstone are a much needed part of communities because they know like no others how their class works and what can be done or what is lacking. Sidisi is a Hunter specialist, and they came up with several decks for this expansion, so if you like hunting, this is for you!

sargeras, wheel of death, endgame , zola , photo,2nd endgame might work well.
Losing the game in one turn with 30 health and board with taunts is way too common now.
Oh wow, paladin at the top of the meta! That is unprecedented!
And Leeroy ending problematic once again! That was hardly foreseeable….
I don't understand why they put back Leroy. A 30 attack charge at turn 10 is a cancer... Let's wait their fix in few weeks to see if they remove it from standard.
=[
Me looking for Mage, Warrior or Priest decks.
To get OTK't with 30HP + 5 Armor offboard by Paladin´or Warrior is so much fun.
EDIT: Oh, i forgot Druid, 40 Damage from Hand Turn10
10/10 ! best expansion in my life
Bots are easy to beat. Consider it free wins when you face them.
Is getting (free*) wins all that matters to you? I never understand that argument. I guess people like you would also happily play a card that literally says "Start of Game: You win the game"? Sorry, I really don't get it.
Maybe people like me are the exception but I play the game to actually play it and I would like both players to have a good chance at winning. Something that seems to me in decline for years now. But maybe that's another topic altogether.
Is this what HS has become? Bots farming free* stuff on one side and "tryhards" ranking up on the other side... Seriously what is this... I guess it really goes together very well, isn't it? But like... that seems terrible.
I mean wouldn't even necessarily mind if it's not real players but it's mostly indeed like you say "easy to beat". But why would I be interested in that? Just waste my time for "free wins"? Why? What's the point? It makes no sense to me.
Seriously, I could be playing right now but then I think to myself: "Well, not playing against a friend might just be another boring bot. Am I actually interested in that?" And therefore I have not played much even though there are quite a few things I would like to try out.
It's just not fun against bots for me. I guess I'm happy for those that indeed find enjoyment in playing against bots. But that is not for me.
Wish I could have fun playing literally any deck, but now 99% of both standard and wild are bots.
The standard bots are all basic zoo decks and the wild bots are all Mech Rogues and Hand Buff Paladins.
This sh*t needs to end. People paid money to get cool cards only to be up against basically no other players.
99% it might be ur MMR, I'm currently around r5 diamond and it's all real peeps. Also Bots are easy wins
There are literally zero paladins and mech rogues in wild ladder right now, at least on my journey to diamond 2
people paying money is part of the problem... stop supporting lazy devs, last couple of patches have been +0 creativity cash grabs.
Literally this:
if you're below Diamond, like... 3... then yes, you're playing against bots, player base is steady dying off, nobody plays anymore except the silvers that were playing since beta bc now they're able to rank "high"
I played standard last week. Normally I‘m playing wild. I faced 4 bots out of 5 games. It was so relaxing compared to wild. And easy wins, too. I can‘t complain.
