Deck Spotlight: Silence Druid
In today's deck spotlight we're checking out another creation from Sigma, the Silence Druid! The deck gets its name from Wailing Soul, which is used on some of your beefier minions such as Ogre Brute or Fel Reaver to get rid of their negative effects.
This is an improved version of Silence Druid which makes use of the new TGT card, Darnassus Aspirant, which Sigma believes makes the deck the most consistent it has ever been.
The deck has a fairly midrange crafing cost of 4580 dust. So what are you waiting for? You can find the deck below and learn more about it over on the deck guide.

This deck is becoming quite popular, I've played vs it a couple of times already.
I actually saw one of these around rank 8 right before the end of the season, and while I dominated it completely, it was a really weird deck to play against. Now, I see that it came from somewhere.
silence druid is fun in this meta now :D
Nice deck, thanks for sharing! Will try it out!
even with Aspirant that Fel Reaver deck is too inconsistent! But funny to play :)
seeing Dr. Boom and Fel Reaver in a lot of decks lately
Well Dr. Boom has been a staple since GvG. Fel Reaver on the other hand is suddenly everywhere! I'll be damned if I'm gonna waste 800 dust crafting two though.
Aldor Peacekeeper heard the news about Fel Reaver.
Looks like a fun deck. But how does perform against patron?
I personally haven't had any problems, so far 100% against patron. Just make sure not to drop a Deathlord close to his combo. CW is a bit of a harder match-up though.
The proofread is strong in this one.
Here's how you know a card is broken. When you put Dr. Boom into a silence druid, despite it having negative synergy with the entire deck theme.
The theme of the deck is to silence unfavorable effects off of your own minions. The Boom Bots have favorable effects, which means that silencing them is actually negative. It goes against the theme of the deck.
Boom bots are used the next turn after they are played in 99% of cases. So you will never have the chance to silence them anyway.
Finally a use for the Mulch I don't have.:P
Seriously though, that deck looks kinda fun, definitely going to try it out.
EDIT: Of course not crafting Mulch for it, good old BGH will suffice.:)
BGH is better. Naturalize is just too bad.
Liked how Pawel was smiling during his game against Neirea, didn't see the end though. did he win the set? :)
Oooh, you had to see it! Pavel failed miserably in his game vs Lifecoach, which cost him a Blizzcon ticket.
LC had Sylvanas on the board, and Pavel had Loatheb. The obvious play would be to trade with Sylvie and play some giants to stop the FoN combo, wouldn't it? Well, no. Pavel played Dr. Boom first, then traded with Sylvanas, resulting in Boom getting stolen. As Pavel was at 10 HP, it's needless to say that Lifecoach won the game and a ticket to Blizzcon.
