How would you determine which deck consistently hit legend and how varied they are on HS Replay?
Back when Brann was still around, how often were you matched up which wasn’t Astalor OTK Druid combo? 10% of the time when you’d get the occasional aggro druid? How often were you matched with Warlock which wasn’t imp/curse warlock? 5% of the time?

I think there are perhaps a couple of important points to make about this, that perhaps are getting a little overlooked in the general discussion of this thread.
The first revolves around neutral powerhouse cards, such as Brann and Astalor. These cards are (and always will be) very strong and fit in a swathe of decks that can make good use of them. But including them doesn't make the archetype itself. I wouldn't consider a Druid deck using Astalor to be the same as say, a Warlock deck using him, Or a Rogue comboing him, etc. And since cards like Astalor or Denethrius are often used as big finishers, they are often the last impression we have of the deck, so it naturally feels like "just another Astalor deck" etc, whereas the truth is that the deck mayhave done vastly different things during the game itself, which we forgot about in the heat of the finishing move.

The second point is you asked which decks I (or whomsoever the comment was directed at) determined to consistently hit legend on HSReplay. In the first instance, you are asking for a subjective anecdotal response from me (or anyone else) and so is likely to be something you might disagree with if you dont have the exact same understanding / opinion of it. That point aside, decks one would play at Gold ranks, or platinum, or Diamond, or even Legend itself are not necessarily going to remain the same and therefore there is always going to be variety involved. For me personally, I get bored of a deck after around 15-20 matches (sometimes less) so it's vital to have a few different decks to play with when I make the ladder climb to legend otherwise I will get tired of the game and put it down.

    Just my thoughts on this.

    You misunderstand.

I was taking to Anarchist, look at his previous reply. He was saying he reached legend with home brews and I asked him which one he used. No one is being antagonistic here.

My mistake - the notification said there was a reply to my message and I thought it was this one. No problem.

Kindly provide the last 3 home brew decks you’ve reached legend with.

I’m confused. Where did you read that I took 3 home brew decks to Legend?
Or were you just being antagonistic because I was offering a player some help, for some unknown reason?

Gave it a good try this evening. Its fun but have to admit it doesnt win often for me.  I think maybe the druid package might be too slow. I will see if the armour druid idea might work

I am impressed - I have been trying to find something that works with Tony since Day 1, but usually he either dies and is wasted, or I can't survive long enough to get him to do something useful.

I will have a proper watch of your replays and see what you've been doing with him.

How many archetypes reach legend? I mean unique archetypes for each class?

Ive experienced two in Warlock, one in Paladin, one in Rogue, two in Mages, two in DK, two in warrior, two in shaman, never meet any DH, two priests, one Druid.

Well you'd probably have to go somewhere like HSReplay or VisciousSyndicate for the details on that in fairness as I couldn't tell you off the top of my head.

There are plenty of incredible deck concepts out there (many I have tried myself), so it's definitely not a case of "one archetype is all that works on ladder".

If you need some deck ideas, hit me up. I have a couple on here that are currently doing extremely well.

Hi there, if you believe that there is a bug with this, then it's probably best to send Blizzard a ticket directly detailing the issue.
It is unlikely a member of Blizzard support will see this thread on this forum.

One thing that is worth pointing out (that I am surprised nobody has said so far) - is that Blizzard introduced their own bots into the game to alleviate wait times escalating too high and guarantee players will always have an opponent wherever possible.

Personally, I am much happier to face a bot and know that I am more or less guaranteed a win (barring some terrible RnG) than having to wait an extra 5 or 10 minutes to face a player fielding yet another boring aggro netdeck and inevitable lose.

At lower mmr and ranks that could be blizzard bots. They seem to test new cards already or are bugged using them already. You can check by seeing your last opponent. If it won't show up it was a blizzard bot.

I have definitely been seeing a mix of Bot names now. Some with the "<adjective><noun>" format, and then others with russian lettering, etc. Could be Blizzard bots as well of course, since I dont know what the russian words actually say! XD

I don't understand why there's no algorithm set in place to autoban. No human can repeat the same action at the exact same time interval. You set something up so that if something is the same action is repeated x times in a row = ban. It's that simple. How could a hacker circumvent this?

Circumventing that would be easy to implement a simple randomisation when it comes to the delay before acting. It just becomes a "cold war" of sorts.

Imagine hitting this button by mistake though... o.O

Obviously for something so severe there would be a confirmation before like "are you sure?". I find this option very welcome, but I doubt blizzard is interested in developing something just to make life easier for players.

Considering the maaaaany years we have been asking for an auto-mute button which has never been done, one assumes you are correct on that...

    Can you provide evidence please?

Tricky, because not without breaking the "Name and Shame" rules.
But suffice to say I have seen first-hand people who have been silenced for varying periods of time after flaming in the in-game Chat. And the fact that the bots cannot be added ingame / found in the previous opponent's screen, then they are clearly established as non-players by the game, and therefore easy for Blizzard to spot (when following up on reports).

That all said, I do also remember reading "somewhere" (Reddit? Blizzard Forums?) that Blizzard have added their own bots to the game so that people at low ranks will always have someone to play, quickly and easily. But I honestly can't remember where I read that, nor if that specific claim is true or not. So take that one with a pinch of salt until proven either way.

I love playing against bots in Ranked, because you get to reap in the free wins.
In the EU here, they all have names in Russian letters and you know if they are bots, because if you go to the friends tab, they don't appear as Current Opponent, or last opponent.

Also, it's hilarious when they "accidentally" buff your own minions by mistake lol

Also-also, use the in-game report function. It's what it's there fore, and yes it DOES work. Reporting players has an effect. You just dont get told about it.
