I had good luck with this deck at higher ranks last season. Since last night, I've been stuck at 20. I weep everytime Hearthstone reminds me "You can't lose stars at this rank." Going back to Control Warrior.
I'm honestly kind of shocked that Yogg-Saron's rating is so low. Certainly C'thun and N'zoth are much better, but I would never have expected Yogg to be rated only marginally better than Y'shaarj. Maybe I'm too swayed by how fun Yogg will be.
I wonder if this card had Charge earlier in the design process, before they finalized the nerfs and their current philosophy towards Charge. Seems like it was meant to be a corrupted Stonetusk Boar.
No, the spell costs 0 mana, so it would spend 0 health. Then it would consume all of your remaining mana (as that is the spell's effect, not it's cost) and summon that many tentacles.
Was hoping for something more original. Maybe something Aqir-based, lots of bugs, oozing pustules, and purple tentacles. With this, there should've been two game boards: Corrupted Stormwind and Corrupted Orgrimmar.
Agreed, I won't mind seeing this off card off the Golden Monkey. Nat Pagle can get you killed in a Monkey deck, whereas Nat, the Darkfisher will be awesome for fatigue.
If we're going by pre-Hearthstone opinions, Yogg-Saron by a significant margin. I flippin' love Ulduar so much. (I'm honestly a bit sad that this expansion means we'll probably not see an Ulduar adventure). But in terms of the cards themselves, definitely C'thun. I almost always play slow control decks that go to fatigue, so C'thun decks absolutely suit my style. I think Yogg and N'Zoth both will be really fun to play, but if any of the Old Gods ends up being a mainstay for my deckbuilding, I expect it to be C'thun.
I fully support this. The Twins seem like a great idea for a paired set of Legendaries. It would be nice if some of Cthun's cultists reflected the AQ aesthetic.
Thanks for the great deck. I don't play Druid much, mainly because I do not care for the play style of what most Druids on the ladder play. Spent the evening working through several quests, and this deck was a blast to play. Druid's one of the few classes I don't have any class legendaries for, so I had to sub out theMalorne,Cenarius, andAviana. Went with Dr. Boom, Elise Starseeker, and Mind Control Tech.

Misread it initially as "for each enemy minion." I'd prefer that version.

Agreed, the art is gorgeous. But I'm biased, my main in WoW is a female goblin DK.

Oh wow, that is amazingly split.

As a Golden Priest, I can say I'm very excited for Forbidden Shaping and think C'thun Priest will work very well.
