Honestly Paladin secrets are so weak that they're quite easy to clear if you know what you're doing in my opinion. Maybe I'm just lucky but I haven't had problems with it so far.

Huh never had anything like that happen actually. It's always either someone friendly or someone telling me that I suck at playing or something lol

Man I faced like 5 control warriors today so something's not adding up here. Which region are you in? I think there's actually a good amount of difference between them so that might be it.

as control warrior you must control the board right? if you get swarmed you already lost and varian cant save you..... but if you have even a slighlt board control or the board is with 1-2 weak minions if you drop varian you just win the game. he is a card to help the control vs control matchup of control warrior he does nothing vs midrange aggro or whatever. that being said i win vs priests now. yes i out-control them they run out of cards and i still get armour then drop varian and gg

Well, I mean if your opponent is holding equlity + consec varian is shit no matter what the board state is really.

I don't think he's a must but that's coming from a Paladin who runs double equality + consecration so take it with a grain of salt.

If you really want him go for it. I crafted Bolvar when GvG came out and I still don't feel bad about it, because he was really fun to play at the time and that's what counts for me.

You mean the current meta that is absolutely unstable and is going to change for weeks?

I actually just climbed from rank 10 to 6 after TGT hit as well. Used a midrange-ish totem shaman and a control pally and they both actually won against classic face hunter, mid hunter and zoo which is pretty exciting.

I had the same issue but it went away for me. Noticed that the deck will only work if you can open the deck in your collection again after closing it for the first time, maybe that'll help you.

None if I can avoid it. Always better to save dust for legendaries if possible.

Gives you a solid reason to run dragons. If you're already running a couple big dragons like Alex or Ysera it won't be too hard to get value from it. Also this card plays mind games with your opponent, when you drop it they're going to assume that it's going to trigger, or just take the risk and kill it. Even if you don't have a dragon your opponent will have to play around it as though you do, or face the consequences of the deathrattle.

Yeah, I get that that is why people think it's good but isn't it basically just an Abomination that does one more damage and doesn't damage face?

I love how some people here are like "Freeze Mage is such a stupid cancer deck all you do is spam card draw and spells". 

You do know that it's one of the most difficult decks to play, right?

Well, this way the thread will probably die today and then not even be around tomorrow unless OP bumps it again which is basically the same as creating it tomorrow anyway.
