    I didn't think of the Blade Flurry thing, thanks for that info!

    CasmX, you're right, but what you forgot is that the rogue always will take the minion damage. So it's not a cheap Assassinate, you pay a lot of life for each hit. A Warrior can Armor Up!, a Rogue can't.

    (I hope this is the right forum area for this, if not then a nice moderator would please move this post just to the right position, thanks!)

    So, yesterday on my stream we had our first Naxxramas class card discussion with cards to be revealed. The goal was to create a card as close as possible to the new class card, so there were several informations / ideas collected and here we go:

    What we know about the Naxxramas cards:
    - class cards are all common cards
    - Ben Brode mentioned in an interview that not all abilities will have a name, because there are not that much cards in the game yet, that would justify a special ability name (to keep the game simple). As an example for this he named the Emperor Cobra with its poison effect and in Naxxramas we might see more cards with effects that have no special ability name. So we thought which class would fit the World of Wacraft Lore the most with poison? Yes, the Rogue.
    - Rogues already have two weapons, same like Warriors do. So Warriors were given Death's Bite, a third weapon. Would it make sense to give Rogues a third weapon, too? Well, yes, but wouldn't it make even more sense to give them a poison as a weapon upgrade?
    - Rogues have very cheap spells, so if it would be a weapon upgrade like Deadly Poison it should cost about 0-3 Mana

    Well, all in all this is what it could be:

    Snake Venom

    Of course there are a lot of thoughts about this card, so we collected some of them:

    Pro:
    - give Rogue weapons more usability
    - in WoW Lore rogues use a lot of poisons
    - fits well in the Deathrattle theme of Naxxramas (killing a lot of minions)

    Contra:
    - Rogues already have a card with poison effect: Patient Assassin
    - the card is way to op, with Blade Flurry it it a onesided board wipe (well same es for Equality + Consecration )

    What about if instead of stealth, you gave it the Faerie Dragon ability. That way it can't be a target for buffs but also has to be worked down to eliminate the effect?


    The ability is: Can't be targeted by Spells or Hero Powers.
    Fearie Dragons can be (de-)buffed by minions! :)

    Sadly no Blizzard employee is reading these good suggestions, or am I wrong? *smurf*

    Well, seeing this change there might be one important thing:

    Blizzard knows which cards Naxxramas will bring - and we do not!

    I guess this "softnerf" fits well with those new cards. Damn, I wish today would be "Soon" :-)

    You are right, i made Cascade way too expensive. There are too many healing cards anyway, so why not give priests a situational AOE?
    The Animation would be some nice sparkles spawning from each 4/x minion shooting at all companions including itself. Why not?

    So here is my Version of Nozdormu:

    Let's compare Yeti and Ancient Wachter. Both are 4/5, but the Yeti cost 4 and the Watcher 2, that's half of the price to have the stat "Can't attack". I think Stealth would be to OP for a dragon, though it would fit somehow into the World of Warcraft Lore for Nozdormu.
    Well, maybe "Can't attack" would be ok, Nozdormu is lost in time somehow, so he can't attack. His presence force player to hurry in time, but Nozdormu will not interact in the game. But, yes, the minion can be silenced, so the time penalty is gone, but so is the can't attack attribute.
    Beware of an angry 8/8 dragon!

    Well, 9 original mana cost - half the price would be 4.5, so rounded up to 5. I think this would be a pretty good fix for Nozdormu, since he will be somehow the big brother (or even the old godfather?!) of the Ancient Watchers! Wooot!

    So looking at the World of Warcraft Universum, there is a spell called "Cascade" and this is what I would give Priests:

    Looks like a very nice card, I guess it really gets strong with other Paladin secrets:

    With Redemption and Noble Sacrifice both having the same trigger, while Noble Sacrifice might be the stronger combo here.

    PS: I miss the word "random", as stated on all other Hearthstone cards with random effects.
    "Secret: When one of your minions dies, give a random friendly minion +3/+2"

    Maybe we will see some Paladin Secret Decks with Gadgetzan Auctioneer, Secretkeeper, Mana Addict, Violet Teacher, Questing Adventurer, Flesheating Ghoul and even Mr. Illidan Stormrage himself :-)

    What we also know:

    - Each class will get the same amount of cards and rarity, so we have seen one common druid class card, then this will be 1 common card for every other class
    - When only the wings give a Legandary cards as reward there will be no class Legendary card
    - assuming both is true, then only class common cards as a reward would be very disappointing, so the Class Challange reward might be at least Rare or Epic
    - since there are 15 Bosses, the Boss Reward Cards could only be neutral. Giving more neutral cards to the game makes more sense anyway

    Lets do some speculation:

    When every final Boss of a wing will reward a Legendary Card, then we have

    Maexxna - Neutral Legendary Card 1
    Loatheb - Neutral Legendary Card 2
    The Four Horsemen - Baron Rivendare ? (= Neutral Legendary Card 3)
    Thaddius - Neutral Legendary Card 4
    Kel'Thuzad - Neutral Legendary Card 5

    Nerubian Egg sounds like Arachnid Wing, so there might be:

    Anub'Rehkan or Grand Widow Fearlina for the Nerubian Egg. I guess the first Boss will not drop a Rare Card, so I go for Grand Widow Fearlina dropping Nerubian Egg.

    Anub'Rehkan - Neutral Common Card 1
    Grand Widow Faerlina - Nerubian Egg (Neutral Rare Card 1)


    Dancing Swords sound like a Military Wing card, so when the pre-final Boss would drop a Rare Card, then I go for Instructor Razuvious dropping it.

    Instructor Razuvious - Dancing Swords (Neutral Common Card 2)
    Gothik the Harvester - Neutral Rare Card 2

    Since all confirmed Bosses are typed Bold in this article and with out procedure of Blizzard announcing Puzzle pieces, I go for Grobbulus dropping the Undertaker Card.
    Patchwerk was a confirmed Boss and is the first Boss of the only wing with 4 Bosses per Wing, so he and Grobbulus will both drop Common Cards.

    Patchwerk - Neutral Common Card 3
    Grobbulus - Undertaker (Neutral Common Card 4)
    Gluth - Rare Card 3

    Which leaves us with Frostwyrm Lair, so I guess Sapphiron will Drop Shade of Naxxramas as the only neutral Epic Card.

    Saphiron - Epic Card 1


    Summerizing:

    5 Neutral Legendary Cards - Maexxna, Loatheb, The Four Horsemen, Thaddius, Kel'Thuzad
    1 Neutral Epic Card - Sapphiron
    4 Neutral Rare Cards - Grand Widow Fearlina, Heigan the Unclean, Gothik the Harvester, Gluth
    5 Neutral Common Cards - Anub'Rhekan, Noth the Plaguebringer, Instrucor Razuvious, Patchwerk, Grobbulus
    ----------------------
    15 Neutral Common Cards

    Wow, this card is amazing! The Deckcreating-Brainstorm in my head ..woaaaaa...  MORE cards like this, yes! 

    So let's do some math.. Blizz said about 30 cards per Adventure. We know about 5 neutral cards (Baron Rivendare (Legendary), Nerubian Egg (Rare), Dancing Swords (Common), Shade of Naxxramas (Epic), Undertaker (Common) and now 1 Druid card (Poison Seeds (Common)).

    Assuming every class gets the same amount of new cards this will be a minimum of 9 class cards. One card per class would really be a bit disappointing. So, maybe there will be 2 cards for every class then this is 18, leaving 12 for neutral (5 known, 7 unknown cards).

    Assuming every class gets 1 Rare, 1 Epic and 1 Common = 3 cards per class = 27 cards + above mentioned neutral cards = 32 cards. This means all neutral cards are revealed. Hmm, really? No Naxxramas Legendary Class Card? What do you think?


    Edit:
    Another thing - don't think of turning big creatures into small 2/2... think of small creatures pumping to 2/2 .. more Wisp value incoming for tokencombo druids ;-)
