A legendary death knight made me think of a Horseman of the Apocalypse, so here it is.
Summon: "Conquest is imminent" Attack: "Bring the plague!" Death: "Brothers! Avenge me!" Flavour text: You'd think he and Leper Gnome would get along better.
Sorry to steal this but I really liked the idea.
Next: Let's get one or more 1-3 cost minions for Death knights!
I've never gotten really high with Hearthstone, I've been playing for less than half a year. I think my record was rank 13 or 12... But I'd like to get better. Also I'd like to add that I never pay actual money, I do everything by hand (which is probably why my collection isn't very big).
My favourite class is Warlock, but the hardest problem I have with this class is to keep my game consistent. My priorities shift all the time, and Rogues and Hunters especially give me trouble. It's not like I have a consistent winrate, I feel like I'm all over the place. Right now, here's what my deck looks like:
This deck doesn't seem terribly bad. But that being said, it is shaman and shamans aren't the best in arena. And provably the worst thing about this deck is the lack on late drops. Only 2 late drops for shaman is pretty bad. You could have used like 4-5 late drops for sure. But then again this kind of a mana curve could work for hunter because hunters hero power is designed to kill the opponent quickly so you don't really need that many late drops if you have a good early game. So all in all "OK" deck but not good for shaman.
Thanks, that makes it a lot clearer. I guess it explains a lot because I was looking at general card value, not necessarily Shaman value, when picking. Maybe it's also because I prefer to play Aggro as a Shaman, so it turned me off to high drops. I'll try to pay better attention to such biases, this should help thanks ;)
Just out of curiosity what do you consider an awful reward for 3:3 run?
I just meant that I found the reward underwhelming at the time, so it turned me off to arena, seeing it as a waste of time essentially. But I really like it now.
BTW, I don't think it matters, but I got the Coin 4 times in a row which was... ineresting...
So that didn't go too well lol. I lost against 2 Face Hunters and a Paladin (who managed to make a Dragon deck somehow), and I beat a Mage quite easily, suprising enough.
The last time I tried arena was only when I was just starting out with Hearthstone, and the TGT expansion hadn't come out yet. I had a 3-3 run which I considered decent, but the reward was awful so it put me off Arena.
Since then I've played a lot more, with a lot more classes, and I got really excited again once I saw this board! So I'm hoping I can get a few pointers, especially with the new insane variety the expansions have to offer. Is there anything in particular I should look out for when crafting a deck? The biggest issue I had last time was that I had trouble keeping track of how my cards interplayed. I'd love to hear from some more experienced (or skilled) people on how they try to keep track of their decks - If I get a 7-8 win run, I'll be pretty happy.
How do you deal with being dealt a class you're unfamiliar with? For instance, if I had to choose between Hunter, Druid and Warrior, I'd probably be in a bad spot right off the bat unless I try to go for a Face Hunter (and let's Face it, that's just not very fun to play).
I'm confused to see Dread Infernal here. With the setup you have, aren't there more useful cards to choose in favor of him? Looks like you have a lot of 1-health and 2 health minions hanging around, seems risky to me.
Sure, in a handlock. Personally, I don't like it because it doesn't stand well on its own. I like to make decks which aren't too dependent on my opponent's playstyle, and I'd rather have a Doomguard solving the problem for me, for instance. Power Overwhelming will often do the trick too, and 6 mana is steep imo.
That being said: in control decks - go nuts. Sweet card.

A cost 6 and 2/2 minion

Is there any low manavalue in there that shouldn't be in there? How can I put my cards to better use; what is obsolete?
I'd love to hear any pointers
Thanks!

Booty Bay Bodyguard, Lance Carrier and Gnomeregan Infantry were really crappy draws, but their alternatives were even worse. Other than that, I had Gnomish Inventor and Ancestral Knowledge which I didn't need at all in retrospect, so that was a bummer too. Should've paid more attention to my manacurve.
Does anyone have any advice based off this? I mean I know I'm just starting out but I'd like to get better.

Dunno what I'd swap him for though.

A mage spell that summons imps and does something else (like Imp-losion) but not damage.
This was a tricky one, but I think this will do.
Next: one or more Warlock secrets! Any cost you like.

Maybe a 3-cost is more fitting for this egg....
Next: Make a card for awesome Lieutenant Horacio Laine from WoW! with flavour text if you can :)
(favourite quest line ever)

Made some changes, but I got in on first try, thank you ^^
Swapped out 1 Antique Healbot for a Doomguard
Swapped out 1 Raid Leader for a Void Terror
Removed Dark Peddlers
Added Dreadsteed
Added 2 Haunted Creepers and 2 Reliquary Seekers
Worked like a charm mate :)
