posted a message on So... what did you dust?

I did dust neither Patches nor Raza, just because I never opened them and successfully resisted to craft that unbalanced sh*t ;)

I must admit though that I crafted a Creeper, I 've been tricked into thinking the only way to deal with it was to play it myself :(

posted a message on Just a quick Defile clearification

Normally you are right, but the wiki says

    Known bugs

When a Scavenging Hyena and one or more other beasts are in play, the Defile effect may trigger one time too often.[1] The reason for this is at this time not known.

posted a message on [RANK 3] SPITEFUL BUFF

Funny, last Friday I had posted my version I played on Casual for a few days as well, it has Grook Fu Master too

    http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1031802-spiteful-paladin-a-fun-deck-that-might-even-work

Since I work with my limited collection and I'm by no means an experienced deckbuilder it is not as optimized as this one, but I can confirm that it is fun to play.

@AlienEmpress: in my ~30 games I only once experienced the situation where I drew both Dinosizes before I could play a Summoner. and the Dinosize is itself useful in Paladin, as I wrote in my deck description you might even win without drawing into Summoner

This. If we really need a conspiracy theory, it should be more like: people will believe they have better chances of winning the grand prize when they buy the Mammoth bundle because Blizzard always gives the good stuff to the players who throw money at them -> problem solved (for Blizz ^^)

There is just one flaw in your theory: you are assuming that every player rerolls their quest to get not 40 gold usually. But most players don't do this.

Do you have a proof or a link to that?
Or is it just your inner stommach telling you ‘most players don’t do this’?
I don't think we need proof here. Stomach suffices, or I just have to look at some of my friends who play HS casually for fun and don't reroll even after I told them the idea behind it. The huge playerbase of rank 25-20 (partly even up to 15) just doesn't care ;)
PS: when I reroll and end up getting a 40g "3 victories" "100 damage to heroes" etc quest I play that day anyway...so losing 10g now and then is nothing new for me
PPS: imagine the big winner being someone who doesn't read the mail or if he does, has no motivation to open 3k packs ;)

posted a message on 3000 packs Daily quests

You can win a free Mammoth Card Bundle when you Quest for Packs, but for a limited time (starting with the arrival of the upcoming 10.2 Update), you’ll also be able to purchase one.

Just wait for the patch to see the bundle. The quest event is live & running already (no patch needed there).

    Quote from Tad30s >>

VS is a sample size and players who contribute there seem to be bad at KB Mill. It is an easy deck and it should have higher win rates, aye. Both types of aggro paladins and secret mage in red, everything else is at least a 50-50 if not better. Maybe the lists they use are some miracle/meme KB combo?

HSReplay has Mill Rogue at 41% over 240,000 games, their player base is obv terrible, too. My take on these numbers: it is not an easy deck, in the hands of experienced rogue (esp mill rogue) players it can rise above 50%, but with all those new to the archetype and just trying it out because they got Kingsbane as the free leg weapon the observed winrate is sinking dramatically (my theory).

What do you mean with your last sentence? That Kingsbane Mill Rogue is an easy deck, should have higher winrates over the whole population and the numbers from vS are wrong? That's how I read it but maybe I'm lost in translation ^^

posted a message on Murloc Paliden Vs Aggro Paliden

IMHO: in a meta where shaman isn't played much murloc pala is a tiny little bit better. Only Devolve destroys it completely, Mass Dispel leaves you with the tribe synergy in future turns. A second advantage is: you don't need Patches or Leeroy, so it is a bit cheaper.

Aggro Pala might have a little lower skill floor (in other words it's easier ^^) because you don't have the tricky decision on the Hydrologist secret or the order of Grimscale Chum and Murloc Tidecaller ;)

posted a message on Oh Captain, my Captain...

@scorpyon: the Captain alone is not strong enough, just look at pre-Patches decks, did aggro shaman play the Captain?  Even rogues not so much...

The Reason IMHO: either you play a pirate that's gone before the Captain comes out due to having only 1 health (it was different with STB before the nerf) or you play the Captain and it's gone before the second pirate comes out. Only with the Captain pulling a charging, immediately buffed Patches you have the strong tempo play everyone is using (rogue, pala, zoolock, hunter, shaman, even saw spiteful priest omfg)

It's nothing new that Blizzard doesn't confirm it. But it was there the last two years, no one has posted a proven 41+ run over a specific set, all instances were guys opening packs from different sets. If you can, go ahead, maybe Blizzard has changed it in 2018 (I doubt it).
