What do you guys think about people dumping their remaining hands when they can win with what they got on the board? A lot of players on reddit seem to think that they are just showing off. This was a surprise to me because I always dumped my hand if I only had 1-3 cards left. I just meant it as a sign of showing the other players what other options I had left and showing how close the match was. Is it bad manners?
This seems like a circle of healing deck with an emphasis on legendary minions. A circle of healing deck can compete, but it doesn't seem to do too well in high ranked play. that doesn't mean that you cannot play it though.
currently playing a circle deck ; why doesn't it compete (not spitefull but just a question for information)?
Speaking from experience, you just don't draw the cards you need against aggro decks (warrior, rogue), and you can't outlast sustain deck (druid, paladin). Either by the time you draw soulpriest and CoH it's far too late, or your starting hand is composed of something like 2 CoH and ragnaros.
i.e. acolyte can be silenced, hex'd or turned into a sheep... and he's limited to only 3 cards in best circumstances (yet unbuffed), usually limited to a single one
i'm using divine favor with great succes in my deck and it's slower than yours... generally getting 2 to 5 cards when i decide to use it :) which can be a game winning move in itself
a 1/3 is pretty bad.. ya sure it can be buffed but so can every other 3 drop minion, e.g. Raging Worgen would turn to a 4/4 with an awesome ability.
If someone is dropping a silence on your Acolyte of Pain, I'd call that a win :D
Sometimes they even drop a premium removal like wrath and frost bolt on it :P
I see Solar has moved on to a thread that contains no proof that getting to legend ranks without legendaries cards is very possible. I guess he needs to feed his delusion elsewhere.
Anyhow, if you want some inspiration, check out the following thread:
Don't believe this Solarthermal fellow. Check the deck I linked - like I said, someone took it to legendary in the last week, and it contains no epic or legendary cards.
Believe what? I didn't say anything that needed to be believed in, it was all factual.
New players are going to come in, hit the card wall, and be face with 3 options.
p2w
quit
slowly grind forever
The ones who p2w, will continually keep hitting the card wall again and again, and be faced with the same options. Eventually, most will get sick of it and quit, but Blizzard keeps the $.
How about a third option, go to forums and whine about it instead of trying to get better or seek help?
As for the thread, I would suggest browsing this for a deck that you have cards for, and then building from there. Any deck can compete if you master it. There's also this, if you want some suggestions on gaining experience.
Haha I guess I didn't word properly. When I said no deck suggestions, I meant switching deck to another class or an entirely different playstyle.
Anyways, thanks for the response. I realize my deck is a super mid game deck, and it does wonderfully vs aggros like hunters and warriors. I guess also wanting the late game is being a bit greedy :P
I updated the deck with the current version I'm using.
I feel like that would make some classes ridiculously weak, even if it were 2-4 cards. For example, as soon as you see a priest you know you will take your 7+ mana cards, making his MC and SWD deadweight.
Besides, it's fun to discover your deck's weaknesses and try to overcome it with your skills, instead of just switching in instant counters.
My best suggestion would be to watch as much streamers and youtube videos as possible. Keep watching their plays and ask yourself why they made certain trades such as killing a 1/1 with a 3/2. For the youtube videos, I recommend watching totalbiscuit play his arena runs. Watch and play until you can spot mistakes he is making, and you will already be a decent hearthstone player.
Not sure how budgeted you are, so I'll just post my deck as a reference:
You generally want something around 6. If you got the budget, something like sylvanas, cairne, or ysera are nice. I would be careful of ysera though, because if she gets mind controlled/faceless-ed, you will have a hard time dealing with her.

He surrendered in the next turn
If the card said "deal damage equal to this card's attack", then yes. But since it's a flat number, it will always deal 8.

Then it should be pagle, since mages are usually a bit slow. But if you got an aggressive deck, murkla is fine too.
Usually would be Pagle, but depends on your mana curve.

Nice, here's my question: How the does the normal matchmaking work? Why do I get matched with new players using goldshire footman?

Probably tinkmaster, unless you like to play control warrior, in which case ysera would be better.

I like warlock better. There's already a mid game mage deck, and I've also been messing around with warlock a bit. Would be nice to compare decks.
