Pay close attention to your first 5 Turns, you made a couple of plays that cost you the game, mage getting 4 Ice Blocks may be problematic but your play did nothing for you to win the game, you where greedy and even though he didn´t played right either the RNG will always favor the mage.
You could've complained to blizzard RNG is getting out of hand again, just like back in GvG. Other than that, pray for your opponents primordial glyphs discover freezing potion, shatter and arcane missiles every single time.
Not much, but you could have traded into medivh with the Savannah, but that's all I could give you. You can't win every match. Or run one of those tech cards to win match ups like this, but suffer tempo and dead(ish) draws in other
Your opponent played better than you, and on top of that also got lucky.
Running a copy of Flare isn't a bad idea in a meta where Paladins and Mages both have good, popular decks, but if you didn't draw it, you still would have lost.
Your turn 4 play is questionable to play ratpack with no hound master is hand, animal companion is better. Also on turn 5, you should have played animal companion before hyena to see what you would roll. And maybe idk on turn 9 you could have went face with one hyena and set the medivh to 2 health so it dies to explosive trap. Hope that a helps! :)
This druid just get a legendary board out of nowhere..
Stop being afraid to use your weapon to remove minions. You trading minions, especially against a class with minimal board clear, when your deck is reliant on building a board and comboing it with cards like Scavenging Hyena, is a huge mistake.
And then you left up a high priority minion you could have killed against a class that has plenty of healing and taunt in an attempt to rush them down. No luck involved, you lost yourself the druid game by being greedy again.

Yew Brizziarillins and yoor snowflakes... have you ever tasted one?~!
Turn 3 was okey and turn 4 companion is much better. The thing is this is kinda of an an aggressive deck and how you start and plan out your early turns are very important inthose decks. You kinda failed in that sence. Atleast this is my observation that you didnt really plan out your strategy in the early game from 1 to 5.
However in this game it probobly doesnt matter. Some games mages can be very lucky.
I don't like coining out kindly grandmother, better to save coin for bow... and you have good curve for coming turns with coin, pretty sucky without coin (explosive on t2 will generally suck vs mage, since they'll want to trade early into your beasts). I don't like ratpack on four, animal companion seems better... esp since no secret is up. I think tolvir was better on 5, you had bow out and could have traded if it was mirror cleanly, without overkilling... and if isn't mirror, you will have a better board + it would have thinned your deck... and 5 health is a lot better versus mage than 4.
Mage getting 4 ice blocks in a row and being stuck at 1hp is pretty stupid..

Makes me want to run flare or eater of secrets
I know the feel, but... salt thread. Come on, we have a thread just for this sort of thing.
Well I'm also asking what I could of done to change the outcome

Okay.
You didn't play around AoE, especially Meteor.
You traded minions away unnecessarily for greed.

Like I don't know how to play these games any different...

I enjoy.
Yeah, 4 ice blocks is bit much... I didn't see much bad play on ur part, you had the win condition you just got the RNG shit end of the stick.
