Just had a game against exodia mage and had almost 60 health with my armor, the dude almost ran out of time before he could kill me. Is it possible to stack enough armor that they can't finish before their turn ends or would the animations just continue into my turn ala priest and shadow visions? If so, does anyone know how much armor/health you need?
Theoretically yes, but as a practical matter in a competitive game, no. You need to run Dirty Rat and pull out a combo piece and have the tools to kill that piece. Also have to be wary of pulling out Antonidas if you're not in a position to deal with it.

That's because the person you played against is an idiot.
I mean really, my grandma could use 10 fireballs in a turn.
Sadly no, you won't be able to stack enough armor to survive that barrage.
I can't look up the video right now (on mobile) but Brian Kibler encountered a quest mage that just threw fireballs for a long whole and the rope timer just kept burning while he kept throwing more and more fireballs.
I don't think this has been addressed since then, but maybe it has and I'm behind on the times but as it stands they can just keep going as long as they keep cueing up the actions.

You can but it would take upwards of 400.

All about that apm. Nozdormo them and 60 health is plenty.
I remember pulling out Antonidas out of my opponent's hand with Dirty Rat right after he completed the quest 😂 😂 😂

Yeah I know about dirty rat, just wondering how much armor you would need or if it would even work.
thanks.
