pretty bad card imo. keep in mind with awaken the masters youll never play this turn 1. Also this is far worse than babbling just because hero power. In mage babbling +ping = 2 damage and thats realy all to be said here.
Oh yeah time to sleeve up Herald Volazj. I'm beginning to think that the priest quest will be doable. Mistress, Loot Hoarder and this already occupy 6 slots and can be played before turn 5. Then you have Shifting Shade, Volazj and N'Zoth to outgrind your control opponent. Not a lot of room left after that though.
I use Herald Volazj in my Wild N'zoth Priest, and despite people shitting on the card, it turns out he's a better Baron Rivendare in the deck. Play him at the right time, and your board gets loaded with Sludge Belchers, Shifting Shades and Dark Cultists. With the reveal of this card, I am contemplating swapping out both of my Museum Curators in the deck for this.
Sweet. I've been messing around with him as well in Standard and I've always thought that there was some unrecognized potential. The cards weren't quite there yet in Standard but I have a feeling that after this expansion they will be.
i'd argue it's pretty alright against an aggro deck. It can trade into a 1 health aggro minion, and then you can get an aggro card to potentially use against the enemy as well.
This card is very strong, and depend on WHAT the Elemental-Tag provides it might be even meta-defining. The problem is: what does the Elemental-Tag provide? If the effect is strong enough, this card might even be meta-defining, especially since it is extremely cheap. Also the cheap deathrattle is important for the priest-quest.
My milk-shake brings all the cards to the board, And they're like, Its just like yours, Damn right its just like yours, I can teach you, But I have to charge.
Crystalline Oracle / Shifting Shade Copy a card from your opponent's deck and add it to your hand. Mind Vision Put a copy of a random card in your opponent's hand into your hand.
That kind of inconsistencies are driving me crazy.
Why they didn't just make it Copy a card from your opponent's hand and add it to your hand.
It was only a matter of time this type of one drop is introduced to priest too. It is a small Shifting Shade which i find very boring, but it will probably replace Northshire Cleric we're all sick of (at least in some decks).
I think that this card removes Loot Hoarder from the pool of card you want in a deathrattle priest deck. Drawing from your deck is probably better, but then you risk to fatigue yourself in control vs. control match-up.
I'm not sure if i want 2 of these with also 2 Shifting Shades. Surely 2 of these are in if there are too many aggro decks
Instant include in Deathrattle Amara Priest and obviously won't be run in anything else - though I suspect with the death of Dragon Priest we won't see any other type than Amara anyway.
It's a strong card, how it could be valued as anything less than that is a little bit beyond me. It's a 1 mana cheap deathrattle to activate your quest - yes you won't play it precisely on 1 but you can play 2 of them on 2, or 1 of them on 3 with a 2 drop, or play it late game as a cheap activator for your quest. It's a 1 drop that's relevant at all points of the game.
This will be a solid priest one drop trust me it is not bad. yes battlecry would be better but it would be just too op because it doesn't get card from your opponent's class but from their deck.
Also it is absolutely my favourite thing that players keep asking "WHERE DID THIS COME FROM?" "IS IT FAKE?" when a card is first announced. I don't recall a single time Hearthpwn has posted an incorrect card and I've been visiting here for a long time, why would they post with poor information? Boggles the mind.
It's strong, but it's nothing new. Priest keeps getting cards with the same effects and it really annoys me.
Copy from opponents deck is a staple of the class, it's like getting annoyed if Warriors get a +armour card or Druids get a mana crystal card. Not every card needs to be a shiny new effect, we need staples and reliability as well - and we'll continue to get them every expansion now with the Standard rotations.

deathrattle priest is looking more and more possible.

It's a bit less bullshit than the mage and rogue 1 drops, but only slightly so. Why won't blizz stop with the insane RNG 1 drops???

id say its less frustrating babbling book as you can actually know what to expect.
Priest version of Babbling Book and Swashburglar. Therefore very good even in non Deathrattle decks.
