This is NOT Flash Heal. This is a 0/5 with taunt + a generic 3/2. Which isn't bad! This card might see play in Priest primarily. Otherwise, maybe Mage, or other classes that get some value from playing cards like these to try and slow the game down.
But again, let me reiterate: this heals nothing. There is a disgusting amount of creature removal in this game. If this card draws it out then that's great! Unless you're trying to avoid lethal on the next turn. Because this is no heal.
Feel free to attack my arguments but dont attack me thx.
Also you obviously dont get the point of cards like healbot you obviously dont play 30 of those in one deck but that part of your post just shows lack of knowlege about card games like this so i wont argue furthr here.
lmao
This guy so funny
Said he was "attacked" because someone pointed out that he must be new to the game but keeps saying worse things to people who disagree with his dream...
If played on turn 4 as player 1. It should be rather hard for your opponent to kill it off without wasting his entire turn doing just that. lets say you are in board disadvantage and your opponent plays a 3/4 on his turn 3. you play this on your turn 4. What is worst case scenario he does? and how hard would it be to come back after that?

Worst case Scenario? Don't know for sure, but Disciple of C'Thun would already be pretty bad. The average outcome probably as well. If he has a 3/4 on board, he will damage the taunt for 3 and Plays a 4-drop. In your turn 5, you can't kill any of his two minions with the 3/2, so it will die for free the next turn. It seems to me that you will inevitably end up with card disadvantage by using Arcanosmith . At least with a tempo loss (in case you can hero power down the 3/4).
I think this Card is bad, although it is of course possible that someone will discover a deck that could make at least decent use of it. But generally I think this Card will only be good enough, when you are already winning, e.g protecting a full board or something alike. And as mentioned above, then even a 4 mana 3/5 seems to be much better suited for this...
People defending this card is pretty surprising; a 2-drop (3/2) plus, effectively, a Shieldbearer (0/5) for 4 mana? This card produces almost no value in dealing with the board. Sure it may heal for 5 or 6, but you just did virtually nothing with your turn 4. If you want a body to just soak damage, then just play Doomsayer, which has the same health, 7, but an opportunity to clear the board for 2 less mana. I think the scenarios for this card to get real value will be few and far between and in the end, the rarely played Senjin will just be better or if you want actual health, then Refreshment Vendor. I'm fairly confident that I won't be playing a 4 drop that gets killed by 1 drops (the 3/2 getting cleaned up by an Abusive Sergeant or pretty much any granular minion in a zoo or aggro deck).

If that is worst case it's not actually that bad. He didnt use 1 mana and you still have something on your board that you can buff. yes it´s pretty bad if they can kill the 3/2! but that is pretty hard unless using direct spell damage. most of the time he would probably just attack into the 0/5 making it 0/2 and play another minion. this way you have your 3/2 and a 0/2 taunt both able to be buffed for trades. This is only considering worst case scenario. If you are ahead it will be better.
Might have been interesting as a 3-cost card. The main reason Sen'jin is good is that it consistently 2-for-1 trades with lower-cost minions. This will trade one-for-one while stalling for a turn, which would at least have been worthwhile for priest, which is dying for 3 drops and could use some stall to get to its board clears. As a T4 play, it does nothing of value.
Pulling it off on consecutive turns with Brann would be pretty amazing though.
You misunderstood me. I said I don't know the worst case but the disciple is already a bad case. Worst case will probably lose you the game. But the question is more: What is the average case. And on average, I am pretty sure you will be behind in cards or at least in tempo after playing this Arcanosmith. As for the Floating one mana, he could play additionally an Abusive Sergeant, removing the taunt completely. And there are surely
But on a more abstract level: The worst case would be if he improves his board and leaves you behind with nothing. And I can see that happening with Arcanosmith much more often than with other 4 drops.
As a very tiny maybe, it might work in zoo or in a token shaman deck, but I doubt it. Simply because there are better cards that can do what Arcanosmith can. But by any means, go on and try the card once it's available. If noone does, we will never know for sure.
You're seriously blowing this card out of proportion. COlesk is correct my dood. You're not troll but maybe you don't understand how this is easily removed in anything but Arena. This isn't going to see any play in constructive except for in decks of new players that don't know the meta maybe...
Well enlighten me, how is this easily removed in current meta? Can we at least agree that this directly win value vs:
All cases this card is straight better than a tazdingo.
A comparison to shielbearer here is not a fair one because shield bearer cant trade alone, this is not a 0/10 Taunt. If shielbearer would b compared a 1 mana 1/1 Summon a 0/2 Token with taunt id argue it would be all over the place in shaman and Zoo.
Also this works better with buff cards like flametongue,poW,evolve etc.
And plz be serious here im a several legend player averaging 6 wins in arena i deserve some more respekt than just caling me a new player just because i like a card that you dont like and even give tons of arguments why this is a good card.
Feel free to attack my arguments but dont attack me thx.
All right. Well, here's my take on the card: like was already mentioned, sometimes it's better to have a 0/5 taunt, sometimes it's better to have 5 extra health. So I'll ignore that. And sometimes it's better to have 2 bodies, sometimes it's better to have 1. I'll ignore that as well. Now, what are we left with? Essentially a flash heal strapped to a 3/2. Now, a vanilla 3/2 is pretty much unplayable at this point, and you'll (almost) never see a flash heal unless you've also got an Auchenai Soulpriest. Needless to say, Auchenai Soulpriest doesn't help out a 0/5 taunt very much, so it's fairly safe to conclude that a 1 mana 0/5 taunt would likely not be played.
We know that a 2-drop should be worth 6 "points", and a 1-drop 4. Together we have 10 "points", or 4 mana. In essence, then, this is a balanced combination of 2 sub-par cards, which in theory wouldn't make a very good card. On top of that, if we're using this as a control-ish card, chances are we're behind on the board. If they have enough minions on the board, they should be able to kill off the 0/5 taunt, and trade very efficiently with the 3/2, reducing it's value further.
So while I don't think this is necessarily a bad card, I don't think it'll be an autoinclude in control like Antique Healbot was (depending on the meta). I'd imagine it'll see some play in zoo (like RushingMonkey noted), and might make the rounds in gimmicky priest decks ('cause we need more of those, right?), but overall a sub-par card.
Today in my free brawl pack I got Barongeddon, then I had a cup of fresh green tea. As a result of that, I think Priest is OP because my keyboard is not a mechanical one. I hope Blizzard will address this issue.
Nice Artwork at least. And Shield is 2 Mana so basically with evolve you get a random 5+3 but thats not good ebough at trn 5 for 2 cards, needs some help but im looking foreward to this :)
I almost wish it was a 0/8 taunt simply because 0 attack minions are very low value, shieldbearer is 1 mana for 0/4 taunt so theoretically the taunt you get should be worth 2 shieldbearers to get a 3/2 which normally costs in at 2 to hit that 4 mana slot.
Understandably that could be a bit too strong for stall and would force even more silence than is currently run but at the least we already have 3/5 taunts as a baseline, thus a taunt with no punching power is tied to a 3/2 may seem to be costed accurately but I'm a bit skeptical, as Senjin regularly 2 for ones your standard hunter minions and this doesn't do a good job of stopping the warrior aggression we see a lot of at the moment either since they won't even need to commit any of their removal for this taunt.
Tl.Dr: A zero attack minion needs one hell of an upside and eating two shots Alex's chosen sure as hell isn't enough of one.
People who are saying this card is bad have 0 faith in Priest's basic cards like Inner Fire.
Here is how I see this card. This is basically 8/7 with partial Taunt for 5 mana. Inner Fire is 1 mana and turns the 0/5 Taunt into a 5/5. This means for 5 mana you have a 3/2 and a 5/5 on the board and the 5/5 is Taunt.

But the combo was too inconsistent because without the proper counterpart, neither divine spirit nor inner fire are useful cards. And I'd guess the same will probably happen to the combination with arcanosmith. But then again, maybe it's a stall card that fits priest (although I doubt it for 4 mana).
I think this only works in evolve shaman. I think of adding one of this in place of one defender of Argus. This helps generate value ex nihil, which is the most important thing for evolve decks.
I noticed that Lightforge Arena has given this card a score of 28 - Terrible.
I've drafted it twice in Arena so far, and I would rank it as below average - around 41. It's not *that* bad - it's awkward for your opponent to deal with.

Has some use over Earthen Ring Farseer, but not much. I'd say worse than Infested Tauren in Arena.

I think it's a bad card but i still love it :D . I like the art and i'm really curious about the token. I will definetly try this out.
Summons an Animated Shield if anyone wonders.

Of course the class that can actually use this card is f*cking Warrior. Welcome to another adventure in Garroshstone, Heroes of Warriorcraft!
