Hi, I just started playing hearthstone about a month and a half ago and I already spent $100 on basically a 50/50 classic to KFT packs. I just received $100 more dollars in amazon coins from my friend as a gift. I currently have a evolve shamen and a warlock control deck built. What would you recommend I do with the coins? Maybe spend it on 50/50 classic and KFT? Buy the one night in kazazhan missions? Spend it in the arena? Save it? Thanks for the help!
Depending on how many more common/rare cards you need in the classic set and the KFT set, you might do well to purchase some additional packs. But if you have most of the common/rare cards, it's probably better to wait. And classic packs should be your default since they won't ever rotate out of standard (unless they are put in the hall of fame, but then you get your full dust back anyway).
Karazhan could be a good investment as well. I'd look at all the cards and see if adding those in to your collection would be beneficial.
I would not recommend arena unless you can consistently net at least 3 wins, preferably 7 wins so that you can go infinite (i.e. earning your entry fee back and then some).
I think my advice would be to save it, as they will announce another expansion on November 3rd, and then will release it some time in December. You should at least wait until they have revealed all the cards. $100 towards a new expansion would probably get you most of the common/rares and possibly half the epics and maybe 4-6 legendaries. If the set is good, this would probably help more than getting additional packs.

makes sense. is there anything good that i could use to keep track of my collection besides hearthstone? also, i only have 2 of the legendaries from the classic set and 3 the same from the KFT set.
if you are on PC, look for the Innkeeper on this site that allows you to import your collection to hearthpwn. Then, you can sync your collection, people can view it. Here is thread about it...
I think that is what most people do. I only play on iOS, so I have to manually update my collection on this site to have it be current. I'm sure there are other resources out there, but I'd try Innkeeper since you have already found this site.
And I did forget about the first ten packs netting a legendary. I think if you log in to battlenet you can see your purchases, so that would probably show which packs you have bought. If you have never gotten Un'goro, Old Gods, Gadgetzan packs (or if you don't have any legendaries from those expansions), then i'd purchase packs one at a time up to 10 until you get a legendary. You may get a legendary in 2-3 packs, but you are gauranteed a legendary in 10 packs.
And the welcome bundle is possibly the best deal out there. Cheap packs, gauranteed classic legendary, and its a one-time offer for each account. So, if you haven't purchased that, I would do it.
