If you can just consistently discard High Priestess Jeklik even twice, it's a good and playable baggage for almost any deck. It gives Warlock just the sustain and protection he needs after losing some of the heal cards.
What are your thoughts about High Priestess Jeklik or Warlocks place in the meta after rotation?
well see, here'S the problem. Discard ain't consistent.
Jeklik costs too much to be considered with DIretroll or Shriek and everything else just comes down to luck.
Jeklik is awesome don't get me wrong, and with some handbuffs she can definitely snowball out of control, but in order to do that we first need more discard cards and....any incentive to actuallly play them. Quest will be gone, and that was barely good enough to be run.
The problem about discard synergies right now is not that they are bad, it'S that they are unreliable. Unless they print a card tht allows us to specifically discard Jeklik AND ONLY Jeklik, meaning we could do a Handbuff Jeklik deck as a real win condition.
WIthout that you'Re basically throwing in a "just average" 4-drop that occasionally gets some additional value, but requires you to NOT PLAY HER. I've played Discolock enough to confirm that Jeklik only ever pays off in the later stages where you can actually just duplicate her over and over. In any other case she's just a worse Zilliax and since we don't have Corpsetaker anymore there'S no reason to run her.
[edit] I have to go to the market and buy some groceries, so I will express my opinion on discolock after I come back. As for the state of warlock after the rotation - zoo will survive, but I am skeptical for control. We lose so much support, that we might end up being like we were back in Un'goro.

AHAHAHAA nice joke!!! Costs too much to be discarded by them consistently??? XDDD yea right... In renolock nothing under 6 mana is hard to discard, I usually end up discarding Godfrey with my shriek sometimes

Jeklik by herself (Soulwarden helps) has made Discolock a lot more powerful, I dare say almost a proper deck. It takes a special kind of card to make something like Discolock anything but a train wreck.
With the rotation, however, Warlock loses the quest, Zavas, Lana'thel, Lakkari Felhound, and even Howlfiend. I'm not sure The Soularium and the Rastakhan disco cards are enough to keep it afloat by themselves. If Discolock gets no support next expansion, it will only be a niche archetype in Wild.

I like Jeklik and the whole "discard your lowest" package that accompanies her. My only fear is that Blizzard might not continue printing interactable discard cards. Coming up with an unique mechanic and ditching it out completely the next expansion is something they frequently do unless that unique mechanic sees enormous success.

^ This. Also... "Hir'eek, grant me wings!"
Sorry, couldn't resist to post the best quote from this last expansion. :P
A better question is - why do you run Shriek in a control deck (especially in renolock)? Isn't Defile enough for you? There is no point in discarding valuable resources; if you are desperate for a cheap board clear, then use Demonwrath.
[edit] In my standard deck-lists the majority of cards I use cost 4 or less.
Jeklik will have a real hard time after rotation. The sadness is real but it's been a good couple of months. RIP discolock and I'll see you on the other side (in wild)

I honestly think that if there's any half good discard cards in the next expansion, High Priestess Jeklik + some Discard will replace the soon rotating Hooked Reaver + Lesser Amethyst Spellstone combo.

Cubelock is balanced, too. I see nothing wrong there.
I am more and more suspicious about that I will have to craft
