Anyone else thinks this as well? This card was so unique, every game felt different with it, now every game feels the same, face the Paladin, face the Cubelock etc.
But even if it would still be in standard, it wouldn't see play right? Doppelgangster and many more good cards are out. It's not a card I particularly miss.
Wild is too crazy, way too many cards to worry about there. Not a good argument imo.
One of the main factors contributing to many of the problems identified by the community is that HS releases very few cards - considerably less than half as many cards each year as IRL games like MtG. The small card pool impacts diversity and balance - every year, half as many cards are split twice as many ways among the nine classes and neutrals. The notion that Wild has "too many" cards isn't very convincing - at the current rate of release, the Wild format in HS won't have a card pool as large as the Standard format in MtG until rotation next spring, five years after release. Prior to WW, 19 of the 20 most-played decks in the older format were simply upgraded versions of Standard decks. I'd suggest giving the format a try - after all, Evolve hasn't been deleted from the game . . .
Thing is, I dusted all of my wild cards so I probably won't be able to compete there. I was just sad to see that the Witchwood expansion brought so little in terms of fun cards, I don't know if that's just me but that's how it felt like.

Please no.
I know shaman isn't in a good way currently. But the highroll/lowroll nature of evolve is not a healthy game mechanic.
I think a lot of people hated evolve effects, they certainly put me on tilt a couple times. Powerful but very swingy and felt terrible to lose to, kind of like Yogg. I'd be happy if it never returned but maybe I'm the only one.
Wow, a million x no. The feeling of controlling the board and being in a winning position to the opponent shaman highrolling the board with evolve and auto winning is terrible game play.

So true. To add to it, Wild is heavily misconceived. They do not try the gamemode for fears of versing the naga giant combo. Rather, a deck you have in wild will stay in wild; you will have it forever compared to standard that will no longer be usable in standard.
for those guys who dusting all wild cards . im really sorry for your mistakes. once u have a card dont dust it. just save dust for other cards. much better than to dust everything and hope for better cards to come.
How is it a mistake? The top wild decks are current standard meta decks with a few wild cards or decks like jade druid which most people are happy to see gone. What about that sounds like a good time? The only way that will change is new expansions. So I guess you are in the same boat, hoping for better cards.

Mocks wild for being crazy. But evolve is the most degenerate card ever. Evolve pls die even in wild .

I would have been happy with devolve. Super useful.
