I feel like i evaluated the set pretty well this time ( didn't sleep on Corridor Creeper or Voidlord to name a few) but its time to be completely honest about what i missed. I hope other players join in and make posts similar to this.
1. Lesser Emerald Spellstone - i often underrate cards like this because of how easily control deals with them. This thing dominates the tempo matchups and that's all that matters.
2. Drygulch Jailor - Suprisingly good in an aggro paladin deck (along with Call to Arms).
3. Unidentified Maul- Gets pushed out of decks due to there being other better cards, will probably be better after rotation (at least i hope it will).
4. Crystal lion- I still don't think its that good, a win more card that fits into a win more deck.
5. Call to Arms- same as Lesser Emerald Spellstone
6. Dragon Soul- Its underperforming right now due to there being a lot of aggro, it'll probably be way better after the rotation or after a meta shift.
7. Lesser Saphire Spellstone- Probably the biggest dissapointment for me this set. The deck just desn't work. Too much aggro for a 7 mana 32 32.
8. Dark Pact - i didn't expect this card to see even the little amount of play it does now. Interesting tech card.
9. Rin, the First Disciple- Although i still think its not that good, she still sees a good amount of play ( if you're able to play 3 full turns of understatted cards and follow it up with a 10 mana beatstick with little on board impact, you would've probably won without her)
10. Reckless Flurry and Drywhisker Armorer- Although it deosn't see any play right now, sleep with the fishes didn't see much play either during msog. Strong removal comboes like this should always be considered ( Pint Sized Potion and Shadow Word: Horror didn't see play for months and now they're played in 2 strong priest decks)
11. Carnivorous Cube- I still have high hopes for this card. The synergy with Play Dead is being looked over due to hunter having 3 other good archtypes. I think it will eventually have a role similar to Cobalt Scalebane in tempo decks
12. Spiteful Summoner- I didn't even look at classes other than warlock while considering this in early game centric decks. Turns out i was really wrong, most classes have good 7+ cost spells.
13. Lone Champion- Outclassed by a lot of 3 drops right now, cant wait to see how it does after the rotation.
Other than those i pretty much got all the other cards spot on. I think we can learn a lot from posts like this. Every expansion season people pass up on obviously good cards and overrate garbage (Im no exception).
Also rip Prince Valanar. He deos get put into big spell mage, but warlock and rogue got 2 new good 4 drops each.
Actually Carnivorous Cube is seeing a lot of play in Warlock right now with Skull of the Man'ari, Doomguard and Voidlord. Also Rin is good in control matchups where you really don't care too much about tempo anyway, especially when you're standing behind tons of Voidlords andVoidwalkers.
Wandering Monster turns out to be strong, because it tanks a hit at minimum, and sometimes the monster is something that sticks, like a 2/4, or King Mukla, or a Magma Rager

Im not caliming to be some hs master who evaluated the set exactly, i just think a lot is there to be learnt from posts like these. its important to look at how we reviewed the previous sets before we take a loot at the new ones
I know a lot of people overhyped Kingsbane. I did not, fortunately. I can safely say that approximately 100% of all Hearthpwn users predicted Spell Hunter incorrectly.
Yeah, I appreciate the maturity that you're expressing here by confessing your sin as a card misjudger
but at the same time, why do people care what you think?
You guys are f***ing assholes. I despise people like you. How do you know that this guy didn't spend 45 minutes making this post only to see in the first response that someone made a shitty comment? How do you know you didn't ruin the guys day? Heck, I didn't create this thread and it ruins my day seeing comments like these. Get a life. Stop sitting behind your computer and posting extremely negative comments.

I agree with this guy, dunno why the hate, especially that it's a nice, different topic rather than the "OP OP X" or "Is Y worth crafting".

I said spellhunter would be the new black, and people laughed at me.. ha ha.
I feel like spell hunter would've been rated better if the cards were released in a different order. After to my side there was like 5 or 6 good cards for spell hunter released. People just made their judgments the day it was released and kept them throughout the releases. Its interesting how most people said there's about 24 - 26 cards that fit into spell hunter , which was true at that time, but failed to recall that point when reviewing the cards later. Most of that is people recognizing blizzard pushing the deck, and were against it.
Honestly a deck like spell hunter cant be bad. its just a blend of good cards with some extra value ( rhokdelar, to my side). Although its true it would be a lot worse considering only the cards released before to my side.
To be fair some of the recruit cards are complete trash, so you weren't so off.
Also does anyone remember how to make the card on my post links to the actual cards. Im talking about the (card/) things you put in front and behind the card names. i forget how exactly they go.
I'm sorry, I thought people were required to be able to read in order to use this forum. His name is SENA. It's on the left side of every post people make.
I can. I can also put spaces in between my words. OP acted like he disappointed his parents with his misevalutions. You can also piss right off with your teenage angst faces.

To My Side doesn't make spell hunter strong. Spellstone do. If you make midrange with highmanes and spellstone, you actually get better deck.

On the third day before Witchwood, Blizzard gave to me,
three Handlock decks,
two Molten Giants
and a winstreak to Legend Rank #3
Disclaimer: This is a fictional poem and this didn't actually happen to me.

i was pretty optimistic about it in the first place, but it does see a lot of play in the new no spell and kathrena decks.

That'll do, Huffer. That'll do.

"Drama." Cute.
Interesting thoughts, as we still are relatively new in this expansion, (10 days) it would be helpful if people could use this thread
http://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/card-discussion/13-how-to-use-card-tooltips-and-images-on-hearthpwn
to get the hovering pop up card like this
Deathwing
Do this: [card ]Deathwing[/card]
Wait, Kingsbane might be overhyped but it's quite good nevertheless. I mean it's not like Troggzor.
I personally thought I'd see more of The Darkness.
