Crystal core is a card that you get from completing the Rogue quest "The Caverns Below". It is like an enchantment(like Nether Portal) but does not take a board space and has an ongoing effect. The card text reads for the rest of your game your minions are 5/5. Sunkeeper Tarim's effect set all minions to 3/3.
So whose effect will supercede? I think the Crystal COre's effect will prevail coz it is an ongoing effect. What do you think?
I think Sunkeeper Tarim can set their health 3/3 because if you set an enraged minions attack to 1 it can be set. Enrage is ongoing effect too (like while a minion is damaged, gain specified text).
Also if Edwin VanCleef can gain its combo effect like battlecry, it should be debuffed too with any of battlecry effects or smething like that so I guess Sunkeeper Tarim rules Crystal Core
Memedeck-seeker. Always tries to build new decks. Hates tournements, streamers, netdecks and poor-o players. ah, but a tournement mode could be great !!!
Crystal Core should be over that effekt. but its after all not that clear how that card works since frodan fucked up during reveal stream.
Because techincally that means that your minions cant get damaged because damage is lowering the health but that should be impossible due to a permanent effekt that denies a different health than 5.
It sounds like crystal core applies to your minions as soon as they are summoned but doesn't persistently bump them back. We've already been told that they can be buffed and debuffed but if they're transformed they become a 5/5 version. Since sunkeeper is a debuff not a transformation, it would supersede
I'm not sure if it's been clarified how The Caverns Below work. As far as I can tell, they either: 1. Made it by changing stats of all minions to 5/5 when you play or summon them, then doesn't modify your minions anything else. OR; 2. Crystal Core constantly sets your minions stats to 5/5.
Personally I think 2 makes less sense, because if coherent it should mean that their Health always resets to 5, making them impossible to kill incrementally. I think option 1 is true, so that summoned minions are set to 5/5 when they enter the field, and cards like Sunkeeper Tarim works normally on these minions.
Crystal Core- does it make your minions 5/5 forever, i.e heal back up to 5 every time they take damage? "No, only when you play the reward or the minion is summoned. Not every turn - you can buff them after." - Peter Whalem.

This is answered in the main card reveal thread.
