My name is Logan and i play under Team Refuse, being legend all seasons and stuff, but here is a deck i find extremely good for this meta. Any feedback is welcome, my stream is twitch.tv/Loganion and this is my yolowar. You can follow me on https://www.facebook.com/pages/RefuseLogan/483981095039304 aswell.
Update 9/9/2014 - TBK + Execute, for obvious reasons
This deck is completely inviable on this meta. I play mostly control warrior and I did go from rank 10 to 13 with this deck winning only one match, good luck.
I wouldn't imagine so. What is essentially a 10/8 for 8 with charge? kinda hard to replicate imo.
gorehowl as finisher should be a decent budget replacement
So glad to hear this. I love this deck I'm just not sure what to do with it in all honesty >< Granted I don't have death's bite or gromm yet (300 dust away from grom thouugh.)
5 days later xP
Really very good deck.
Hey man, any plans on writing a guide to mulligans and playing this ?
Question, I don't have grommash just yet. What would be a good temp replacement for him? I'm thinking argent atm but I'm not really sure. Also, i'm having some problems with card draw, not sure if I am doing something wrong or if I am just getting unlucky on draws in the first place. Any advice?
Edit: can't even seem to win with this deck :/ no clue what I am doing wrong. any chance you can actually put up a guide or something on how to use your deck?
It appears to be a tempo/control deck, so just trade well, use weapons for removal and not face, always mulligan for 2 drops, and use mana efficiently.
Liking the deck, thanks for sharing! I've been pretty successful so far going from rank 16 to 13 on a winstreak. Feels nice playing a fast-paced warrior deck again.
I've substituted the 2x Harvest Golems for 2x Shade of Naxxramas with the idea that they seem more effective at keeping and maintaining tempo. Stealth can make them just as hard to remove IMO, and you have the option of clearing the board or going for the face whenever they're strong enough to make a move. Also seems like they could be useful dealing with Sludge Belchers if they last long enough. This is just theorycrafting though, I haven't had a game yet where they've played any importance.
Mortal Strike's been pretty clutch to finish the game so far, had a couple cases where opponents taunt up at 6 health and start going for face, just low enough to get into lethal range. Also encourages you to go face with weapon + Heroic Strike to help remove some of the big taunts on the board.
Haven't found a use for the Defender of Argus yet though. So far it seems like whenever I could play him at Turn 4+, I've either got control of the board and something better to play (Kor'kron Elite, Death's Bite, etc.), or I don't have enough mana to play a minion to taunt up with. I'm thinking Spellbreaker could be a decent substitute depending how bad you need that silence and board pressure.
really good deck
And a finisher past taunts
Awesome looking deck, though A guide would have been greatly appreciated. big question, is the idea to go to face with everything? Im kinda confused on what plays to make.
Is this enrage warrior deck ? I guess OP did not include a worgen cause then you need warsong commanders as well ? Surprised there is no unstable ghoul also..
OP - does ur twitch have past vids?
I'm not sure if you accidentally deleted a card or two, but this deck only shows 28 cards in it... Looks promising. Would like to see what the other 2 cards are for sure.
Pretty excited about other warrior builds as I grind for the golden hero, because playing control non-stop gets boring real quick (even if you are winning). This one is pretty nasty given luck draws, and I've got a 90% win rate against facehunters and zoo, but it dies to most of the midrange and control decks I have played. When opponent plays a taunt against this deck, it is usually really embarrassing. Owl never finds his way to the top, and should the game even be lasting long enough to justify Black Knight? Not sure, but I'm anxious to see other peoples input.
will be trying this out looks like the kind of warrior deck ive been trying to build for 3 seasons now but havnt got right.
