A surprisingly potent deck for the Rank 5 meta. Copied from another list with the only change being Spellbender removed for Counterspell as it's more or less equivalent and helps slightly against Druid. Speaking of Druid, it's a rough matchup, probably one of the hardest if they get a quick start and you don't have a good draw, but winnable. The true strength of the deck is it's place in the meta right now. You have great winrates (relatively speaking in Hearthstone terms) against Rogue, removing every threat they play while you set up Medivh boards to finish them after they throw all there reach at you to pop Block, and Raza Priest, which simply can't beat Block. If they're savvy enough, they may try to hold enough cards to burn you for an additional 10 or so after using the Velen combo, but this can be beaten with the life gain from your elementals and Baron, or just another Block while you throw your burn at them. I'll try and help with some general guides for matchups, but I am by no means an expert at this deck nor are my suggestions set in stone, it's simply what worked for me.

Druid - Against Jade or Tokens you want more or less the same cards, Mana Wyrm, Arcanologist, Frostbolt, anything to help you survive. Geist is good, but I wouldn't recommend keeping it, it's simply too expensive, and honestly it's not necessary to win. The only thing that makes the matchup really tough is the Deathknight, 3 Armor a turn is rough. Counterspell should be saved for when they're at 5 or 10 mana to try and stop Nourish or UI. Sometimes they get fast ramp hands and roll you, but I don't think the match up is any worse than 40-45%.

Hunter - There's only one Hunter deck and you want the same cards as you do for Druid. Volcanic Potion is premium in this match up, as it's one of your only outs against super fast Alleycat/Crackling/Companion draws. Bearshark is an absolute beating as well and Potion is one of the few ways to help deal with it, as long as you have a minion in play. It can be rough, but luckily there's not much Hunter around these ranks.

Mage - I never encountered the mirror, though I did play against Secret and Quest. Quest is insanely favorable, as they need to draw basically their whole deck to finish the Quest and once they throw the combo at you, they don't have much left. It's not guaranteed they won't be able to finish you off when they combo you and pop Block, but it's extremely tough. Secret Mage is much harder, Kirin - Counterspell is a really tough play to deal with, but generally I just went for the Frostbolt if I had it, as it could just as easily be Entity. I feel like this match up is fairly even, but it'll probably come down to how fast their draw is.

Paladin - Despite still being a great deck, the Warleader nerf seems to have scared off most Paladin players. Frostbolt is the best card to keep, as it's your only cheap out to Warleader, but any and all early game is good. This feels like a favorable match up, but unfortunately I have only 3 games against them. Won 2 out of 3 though. Save at least one Polymorph for Tyrion, unless you can put enough of a beating on them to keep them in range of lethal after they pop Block.

Priest - One of the reasons to play this deck, Raza Priest is still pretty popular and this deck is great against them. 2 Ice Block's is incredibly hard for them get through, unless they get the classic Raza on 5 into Reaper on 8 AND they have the Velen combo relatively soon afterwards. Any other draw and they usually can't beat you before you setup giant Medivh - Firelands boards. Priest has ton's of removal, but it's all one of's. Try and play around the big clears of Shadowreaper and Dragonfire, and when they burn those 2, feel free to throw every minion you can on board. You generally want the same cards, but you can afford to keep slower cards like Glyph.

Rogue - The most popular deck I faced by far, nearly 40% of my games played were against this deck. You have so much removal that even if they Keleseth, which statistically they won't on 2, you can clear pretty consistently. I thought 2 Meteors was excessive, until I played against this deck nonstop. Scalebane and Bonemare are pretty disgusting cards and they made me want to have even more Meteors. Polymorph is a good card to keep in mulligan, as it's the only answer to an 8/8 Edwin, which is usually the size they go for. This match up is favorable unless they get the infuriatingly powerful Kele - Shadowstep on 2. Every other game though, you usually have enough removal to keep their board clean. Try and keep your life as high as you can to play around their charge minions, specifically Leeroy. Unless they get the nuts though, this match up is the reason to play this deck.

Shaman - I saw very little Shaman on Ladder, but it's still a potent deck. Turn 5 Dopplegangster coin Evolve is an enormous beating as usually Meteor just isn't enough to clear. Usually they don't though, and this match up stays pretty even. Don't have much else to add, just remove the best things they play if you can't remove everything and hope for the best.

Warlock - I only saw Zoo, and it's more or less the same as the Rogue matchup. Play around Bonemare as best you can and remember that they have 2 Doomguards to fight through. Bloodreaver isn't a card to play around, some lists run it and some don't. This match up is better than Rogue though, you've got burn spells and their hero power damages them, not much else to say.

Warrior - The worst matchup. Luckily, the class doesn't exist anymore. Hurray? I don't have any stats for Warrior, but just play around Brawl by not using too many weapon charges and saving most of your burn for post Alexstrasza after you peel their armor.

Overall, this deck really surprised me. It's in a great spot as long as the meta continues to be mostly Priest/Rogue/Druid/Warlock and it's a lot of fun.
