General Presentation
Hi fellow Hearthstoners !
Here I am with again with another deck idea !
I was always wondering how to make Dragonadin gain back its former glory while constantly testing and improving my "[MetaBreaker] Skeleeggroadin, breaking some shells !" deck .
I simply love the Bone Drake, his art and effect are amazing, and wanted to include it at all cost in a competitive deck. And it seems to work ! The cards generated by the Netherspite Historians and the Bone Drakes are simply game changing : Deathwing, Alexstrasza, Ysera, Primordial Drake, Cobalt Scalebane, etc...
I keep on winning matches with this deck against all classes, only struggling a bit against aggro decks. The complete guide of this deck is coming soon, but you can already test this deck and give me your feedbacks, they will be very welcome in order to improve this deck !
I'm currently rank 9 with this deck and climbing fast as hell with it combined to my other paladin deck !
Gameplay
A lot of your wins or defeats will come from choices you made while playing your Netherspite Historians. It seems like they just a bonuses, but they are in fact, with the Bone Drakes, the core of this deck ! These cards provide you with powerful tools which you must choose carefully : Deathwing, Alexstrasza, Ysera, Primordial Drake, Book Wyrm, etc...
- Against aggro : always try to hit early / mid-game dragons with your Netherspite Historians like Faerie Dragon, Twilight Drake orCobalt Scalebane. But don't play Netherspite Historian to early or you'll be behind on the board. Your Nightbane Templars and Rallying Blades are the keys to stabilize the board, once you've dropped your Twilight Drake and Cobalt Scalebane the game is pretty much over for your opponent ! Don't forget to pick Alexstrasza out of your Netherspite Historians if you think you'll hit late game but with low life.
- Against control and midrange : the game being slower, you can go for Netherspite Historians early on and pick late game drops like Ysera vs. Priests or Deathwing vs Jade (last chance against them which won me some games). Twilight Drake is also a very good choice against Priests ! As usual, use your Nightbane Templars and Rallying Blades to control the board early game, and being able to put some pressure on your opponent early on.
Replacements
If you don't own any of the replacements listed hereunder, I'd strongly suggest you to include a Book Wyrm to your deck, or Ivory Knights to increase your survivability.
- Tirion Fordring : he is very valuable, but can be replaced if you don't own it. The best replacement is The Lich King, but you could also try Deathwing (game changing against Jades) or Bonemare.Stonehill Defender is also a good choice.
- Uther of the Ebon Blade : irreplaceable in a certain way, but you could replace the heal his weapon provides with Ragnaros, Lightlord or Alexstrasza (also effective to burn down your opponent). Lay on Hands could also be a good choice, providing you with card draw and healing !
- Sunkeeper Tarim : his effect is also pretty unique, but you could replace him with Deathwing to clear the board, or Stonehill Defender which could provide you with some Tarims !
- The Curator : very good for card draw, but you could try to use Wrathion : he makes you draw at least one card, vs. two for The Curator, and is a taunt pretty 'immune' to Priest which can be played one turn before. Or you could simply go for Stonehill Defender again !
Mulligan
You always want to keep a mid-game dragon in your hand (Twilight Drake,Cobalt Scalebane), as your early game effects depend on it : Netherspite Historian and Nightbane Templar.
- Against aggro, don't keep your Netherspite Historian, but look for your Nightbane Templars, Doomsayers, Righteous Protectors and Rallying Blade.
- Against control and midrange : keep your Netherspite Historians, your Nightbane Templars and Rallying Blade.
Hunter is a Pain in the A.ss how to tech against them properly?
Hunter have difficulties with Doomsayers early game, but the Hydrologist's secrets + Wild Pyromancers or Equality combos can help you with board clears early on or late game.
I really enjoyed the first version of this deck. I find the Righteous Protector, Corpsetaker and Ivory Knight odd cards for this deck, especially now that there's no Rallying Blade.
As fun as it looks on paper, this deck just hasn't got a place in the current meta.
@shadeblight I am trying man, I really am. I want to love this deck I love dragons! Before saying anything radical, I am gonna say that I just think I am shit. I don't understand how this decks early game is supposed to work at all...I mean I am ALWAYS drawing high mana cost cards and then the opponent of course can just aggro my face till I can finally play something. I feel like more-so just getting advice from you might help. I do not have Wickerflame (Threw in Arfus instead), and replaced a few other cards with the things you recommended replacements for. I could check what cards they are if that'd help you help me. Thanks and best regards.

EDIT: I don't know how to do the thing where everybody links their deck in a much fancier and cleaner way.
Just got Yseera from a pack, i was wondering if there's any place for her in this deck?
I have never been a fan of Dragons, but at least the deck seems very solid.
not a very good deck.
1,not enough taunt or heal for arggo decks
2,not on pace with other tempo decks.
3,absolutely getting rekt by control decks.
the problem with this deck is Dragons.
compare to dragon priest, operative and dragon fire potion already make a better dragon deck than this.
and you force to put dead card like Tarim, rallying blade. and more than 1/3 of the cards are over 5 costs. which means 1/3 of the games you could get rekt by draw rng.
I don't see why Sunkeeper Tarim is a dead card, he helped me winning a lot of games ! And I don't understand the point on 1/3 of the deck costing more than 5 mana, it is a midrange/control deck, that's simply normal, go check other control decks. Draw RNG is wrecking one game per second since the launch of Hearthstone haha !
