This mage hasn't Brann Bronzebeard, it isn't greed control deck. You should try to kill opponent.

Alexstrasza leave your opponent with 15 hp. Further, you can use Fireball, Frostbolt and Ice Lance to deal 13 damage; with ability you deal 14 damage. Sometimes, this should be enought; but also, Bloodmage Thalnos help you deal 16 damage.

You can finish your opponent with Pyroblast, also don't forget about Roaring Torch from Forgotten Torch.

Babbling Book, Primordial Glyph and Cabalist's Tome can add you more damage spells, so you seldom can kill without Alexstrasza.

This classical Reno Mage's deck have a lot of control, it hasn't indispensable cards.
