I don't take any credit for this deck!
Zetalot currently plays it on the EU server in top 16 Legend.
I wanted to share this deck with you guys to show you that priest is more than viable with Naxxramas!
If you want to see this deck in action check out his stream:

I'm sure some people want to know more about this deck. Like basic mulligan strategy and how to play this deck.
Basically you want to mulligan for Undertaker, Zombie Chow, Loot Hoarder and Dark Cultist.
You want a strong turn 1 and turn 2 opener every game. This is deck is all about momentum and not a control deck.
This deck is, like zoo, a minion based control deck. Of course you have some great board clears Auchenai Soulpriest + Circle of Healing and Holy Nova but in generel you want to trade favorably with your minions.
The card that seems to give many people who play it the most problems is the Deathlord. Deathlord is NOT a turn 3 card unless you play against an aggro deck. If you play against a control deck you want to use him smart. Play him to protect lethal, your other minions or when you know your opponent has no removal.
Baron Rivendare can be used for some amazing combos in this deck:
- With Auchenai Soulpriest + 2x Zombie Chow + Circle of Healing for 20 damage
- With Dark Cultist for two times 3 Health on your minions
- With Sylvanas Windrunner to steal two minions from your opponent
- With Sludge Belcher to get two token taunts after he dies.
- Or, if you like a challenge, with Deathlord to give your opponent two minions on the board!
Replacements:
A lot of people ask for a replacement for Sylvanas Windrunner. While her effect is unique you can replace her raw stats with Loatheb. Of course Loatheb does have a total different effect but can help you in different situations than Sylvanas Windrunner.
If you need to replace Cairne Bloodhoof i would suggest Argent Commander for good trades or Boulderfist Ogre for a big body.
You don't normally play priest do you.
Edit: Just realized this deck was updated with more removal after you posted this.... my bad
no worries, and just answering your question:
Lol Rekt!
How much more removal can you even get in a priest deck? Additionally, priest has always been the most inconsistent class..
Not sure why remove Feugen and Stalagg, i find them pretty decent, stalagg is kinda bad sometimes but Feugen is always nice to have imo.

thx for posting and updating having lots of fun with this deck and good input from the stream
fun deck, but not consistent.
The trick to this deck is understanding its late-game pivot from mostly-beatdown to mostly-control; your goal is to take a tempo advantage into turn 5 or so, then consolidate it. The endgame begins when you play Auchenai Soulpriest and its supporting effects, including your hero power. A few cards completely change meaning at that point; for example, Power Word: Shield flips from a great dig spell to a major card advantage generator, since it can often buy you an untap and an additional hero power activation with the Soulpriest in play. (If your opponent or your opening hand dictated a more controlling role early, Shield can play a similar role on Northside.) In general, the 5+ mana cards are all about consolidation, keeping your opponent's board presence down to preserve your early lead long enough to win.
Your lead doesn't just have to be on the board - it can be cards + health. Cashing in a board sweeper to strand your opponent with two cards to your six, down ten life, obviously puts you in a fine position to win the late game. The key is seeing when to make the transition. Holding onto your aggro board advantage too long means you give up a head start in building your late-game board; sweeping or trading out too early puts you in the late game with fewer cards than you'd ideally like.
I play this deck -1 Defender of Argus, +1 Circle of Healing. Not drawing a Circle can make life difficult; I can deal with drawing a second one.
This deck sucks because of lack of removal u are not zoo when u have amazing drawing power to pull that kind of stuff. If your starting hand sucks u can concede right away.
So much fun,
Ye, is there any card we could replace for holy fire?
I think one or two Holy Fire is a must in most priest decks. Otherwise you lack removals more often than not.
I've just started using this deck today and love it, managed to pull off the 20dmg combo with x2 zombie chow and baron + soulpriest!

I tried this deck, but it just didn't work for me. The combos are great, if you can get the right cards in your hand and play them at the right time. I didn't get that lucky! Maybe I just didn't play the deck right - which is very possible. But thank you for the suggestion!

I think this deck lack of removal, I just played a game against a miracle rogue and his gadgetzan was there for 4 turn cause I had nothing to remove this is so bad. Cause if you don't get board contral and the enemy play a big minion you have so little card to remove. Like 1 circle 1 holy nova 2 Auchenai and nothing more this is to few I think.
how come only 1 COH? as many combos it can produce with the new 'rattles, 2 would seem unobjectionable, no?
you forgot the combo Baron Rivendare + Deathlord :p
What can i replace deathlord with?
i have him and he is quite useful at times but i lost 60 percent of the games because of him. and i followed the rules and played him mid to late game but still the opponent ended up with alextraza and ragnaros kind of shit :/ havest golem doesnt fit for me cuz the taunt is useful. i tried sludge belcher but he is too expensive at 5
How i can replace Cabal Shadow Priest × 2 ?
