Hello, and thank you for viewing Zetalot's legendary Deathrattle Priest deck, Deathrattle Madness!
Zetalot is a top level hearthstone player and streamer, and is one of the only players I know who plays priest exclusively. He is extremely knowledgeable about the priest class as a whole and has a good sense for what does and does not work in a priest deck. If you would like to learn about priest in hearthstone, there is nobody better. Please visit him at www.twitch.tv/Zetalot
Why 2 Mechanical Yeti? What is it good for? Dont get it...
I was playing a similar list with one Mechanical Yeti. Overall, 4/5 is a nice drop for 4 mana for Priest, as we can kill creatures like 4/4 and heal it back. The deathrattle part triggers Undertaker.
Oh thanks. I just have one so I change the other for a Rivendare Baron.. Seems to be working :)
hows rag and loatheb in this deck? I'm using them as substitutes for carine/syllvanas and I'm also using haunted creepers instead of cabal shadow priests as i don't have them yet, is that good or are there other cards that do it better? i also used to have feugen, and stalgg in her, should i have kept them?
he was put in after i commented that
I tried this deck on the ladder today. The result out of 8 games was 6-2. It feels like I have a good chance against all classes. I managed to beat Control Warrior and Control Priest that are supposed to be hard for Deathrattle Priests. The only game I felt I didn't stand a chance was against a shaman who got an early Flametongue Totem that I couldn't remove.
deck sucks against warrior
or maybe you sucks against warrior?
I recommend taking out 1 cabal shadow priest for a holy fire. So much more board control and healing from the trade off. Also I feel that 2 cabal's is a little bit too extreme in most cases.
Hey I don't have any Cabal's at the moment. What do I switch it out for? Not sure. Could I also switch out the defender of argus for a Loatheb? Haven't been using argus too much.
What can I use instead of Cairne and Sylvanas while I work on making them ?
Thats funny, I arrived at the same conclusion of Loatheb and Rivendare yesterday and its been working just fine. Rivendare-Chow-Auchenai is so sick and not as rare as I thought it'd be, I've pulled it off quite a few times now. I can't wait til I have Cairne and Sylvanas though, I need them for more decks than just this. I went and disenchanted them out of impatience to make a deck like an idiot when I was a noob.
Oh and btw I made the change of -1 Thoughtsteal +1 SWD as Handlock tech
Anyone else think 1 swd isn't enough for all the hand locks?
I think it was submitted before the hunter nerf
This is actually very similar to the deck I came up with. The basic idea of Undertaker and all the Deathrattles is something I have tried with most classes but Priest probably does it best thanks to Synergy with the Hero Power and PWS. I always like to be trying at least one deck without epic or legendary cards and this is the one I am running this Season
2 X Circle of Healing, Undertaker ,Zombie Chow, Power Word Shield,North Shire Cleric, Loot Hoarder, Haunted Creeper, Wild Pyromancer Harvest Golem, Temple Acolyte, Auchenai Soul Priest, Cult Master, Spectral Knight, Holy Fire
1X Injured Blade Master , Mind Control
With both Cult master and Cleric I frequently draw the whole deck , lots of fun for a cheap deck.
I'm really liking Kel'Thazad in the deck :)
Pretty fun.
I had some pretty good success with this deck (the original one, with the thaddius cards), and have been following the updated iterations. This is such a fun deck! A couple questions though:
1) I haven't been a fan of Deathlord... I've been on the bad end of its RNG which have led to my opponent snowballing. imo, it's not worth the potential for a big taunt/legendary to pop up early. I've also had my opponents blow their hard removal on it for just that :/. What would be a good replacement?
2) Unfortunately, I do not have sylvanas (which is huge in this deck). Any idea for a solid replacement that wouldn't hurt the overall mana curve?
There're too many hunters, they counter this deck so bad
Not viable at all, but when it does work it is quite fun
Useful for people like him who do nothing but play the game all day. But for the average Joe it isn't the best.
No card draw, damage projection, and everything is easily controllable
