Boss Info

Patchwerk is the first boss in the Construct Quarter.

First to mention is that Patchwerk doesn't own a deck, meaning there won't be any enemy minions or spells.

He's equipped with a Hook that on Normal Mode deals 5 damage. The weapon got Deathrattle, that gives him a the same weapon again with full durability. In other words destroying his weapon is pointless.

My experience is that Patchwerk will try to hit you in the face whenever he gets the chance.

When it comes to Hero Power, Patchwerk's is called Hateful Strike and will destroy any of your minions at the cost of 4 Mana. 

Strategy

I've put together the deck with an early mana curve. Including quite many taunts & buffs.

At start, mulligan for low mana cards [1-3] & try to save any cards that synergize together.

The basic theory is that any taunt card before he's got 4 mana saves you from taking 5 damage from his weapon. 

At the time he has got 4 Mana he will most of the time use it to destroy any taunt you've got, and then attack your hero IF there is not another taunt up, in that case he will attack that.

Card Theory

• Early game taunts forces him to waste valuable 5 damage destroying it and saves you from taking that damage.
• Voodoo Doctor or left over mana for Armor Up! will give you +2 Health or + 2 Armor & every step of 5 Health/Armor passed gains you one extra turn. 26, 21.16, 11 , 6.
• Ancient Watcher is a superb combo with Sunfury Protector before his Hero Power.
• Faerie Dragon is sweet cause he can't destroy them with his Hero Power
• Use Cruel Taskmaster & Inner Rage to buff any minions with 2 or more health. With Armorsmith on the board you will also gain +1 Armor.
• Rampage is just splendid to throw on any damaged minion that you've buffed with Cruel Taskmaster or Inner Rage.
• Leper Gnome is a nice early toss. Combined with Sunfury Protector you can force him to take up to 6 damage on his turn.
• Sludge Belcher is nice if you would happen to get to turn 5. Leaves your health unchanged that turn.
• Spectral Knight is a better version of Faerie Dragon.

Turn 1: The Coin -> Armorsmith
Turn 2: Cruel Taskmaster, buff the Armorsmith [+ 4 Attack total & 1 Armor]

Turn 1: The Coin -> Leper Gnome x 2
Turn 2: Sunfury Protector
