I managed to beat the Heroic Baron on my first try using a similar deck (I had two Doomguard instead of the Acidic Swamp Ooze, but they weren't essential).

Good starting cards include any cheep taunt as well as both Corruption cards. Deathlord are an excellent addition to the deck, since the Baron doesn't seem to have any other minions except the Horsemen. You need to just hold on using taunts and let the Horsemen die on their own. After they go down, the rest is easy.
