Hey everyone,
I wanted to share my deck and stats, in hopes of helping some more people achieve their legend goal. This deck is a variation of midrange hunter and is the only deck I used to go from rank 5 to legend. Like most people, we don't like giving blizzard our hard earned money so I needed a cheap yet effective deck. It was not easy and getting to legend never is but it is possible. I hope you all enjoy and if for any reason this deck gets a lot of attention, I will do a full guide!
It took a total of 198 games to reach legend. 112 wins-86 loses for a win rate of 57%.
Paladin-Aggro Murloc (13-6 for a win rate of 68%)
Paladin-Midrange/Control (0-4 for a win rate of 0%)
Warrior-Pirate (15-8 for a win rate of 65%)
Warrior-Taunt (2-5 for a win rate of 28%)
Druid-Aggro (11-8 for a win rate 58%)
Druid-Big (0-1 for a win rate of 0%)
Druid-Jade (5-3 for a win rate of 63%)
Rogue-Quest (6-2 for a win rate of 75%)
Rogue-Tempo (5-0 for a win rate of 100%)
Rogue-Giant (1-2 for a win rate of 33%)
Hunter-Midrange (6-2 for a win rate of 75%)
Warlock (1-0 for a win rate of 100%)
Mage-Secret (25-18 for a win rate of 58%)
Mage-Quest (2-0 for a win rate of 100%)
Shaman-Jade (9-12 for a win rate of 43%)
This deck struggles against control decks but as the meta stands you will be running into secret mage, pirate warrior, aggro druid, and jade shaman the most. This deck performs well against all of them and only really struggles against shaman.
Well I hope someone is able to use this list to reach the top and #makerexxargreatagain!
Please leave feedback :)
I do like this deck, but I like two timber wolfs in my hunter decks, nothing beats your opponent laying down 7 minion and you hitting them in the face with 5 3/1 hounds
I was having a hard time climbing from rank 3 to rank 2 with the decks I had been using earlier in the climb and I decided to give this deck a try since I was facing mostly pirate warrior and aggro druids. I went 6/2 with the deck and made the last push to rank 2. Golakka Crawler and Hungry Crab really worked great and had a big part in winning me the games. 10/10 will play this deck again.
form 18 rank to 4 atm...
I find, as is the case with most Hunter decks these days, that it struggles against Murloc Paladin because the early game isn't really strong enough even with the Hungry Crab. Other than that this deck seems to do pretty well if you are able to keep tempo with it.
Really fun deck to play! thanks for posting it
At last, a guy who puts his real winrate, and not trying to sell us the deck, good job sir, you have my vote, and I going to test this deck for sure!
I understand it might be important but is there a replacement for hungry crab? If not Ill have to try crafting it
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but this deck isn't working for me at rank 15. Currently at 32% winrate after 63 games, admittedly I was learning the deck for the first few, but I'm mulliganing correctly now and out of my past 10 games 9 were still a loss. Maybe I'm just unlucky? I'm really not that terrible of a player, still around 54% on my secrets mage.
this deck pretty good just get 15 rank too 10 rank easy
6 - 2 QUEST ROGUE )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
How did you fare against priest decks?
I'm so tired of all these people running priest decks with so many legendaries that take little skill to master.
If legendary cards transform players into instant legends, why aren't all decks 30/30 legendaries?
57% winratio it's suck rating in ladder/legend.. you can play any deck and make this winratio... :D lol
just played against this twice as a murloc paladin. Lost both times
read what he wrote again
It isn't really that this deck has no chance of beating those decks because it can. Hunter can still reach high ranks because it is capable of pushing good amounts of damage early and as long as you keep tempo with both minions and your hero power you can win some games turn 6-8 if you play it right. It really comes down to your decision making on which cards to play and when, especially with buff cards like Houndmaster and Crackling Razormaw. As for the heropower, you have to make sure that you play it on curve and when you can afford to do so over putting a minion on the board. Sometimes it's better to play a Crackling Razormaw over a Houndmaster turn four so you can fit in your heropower as well as buff a minion.
What would you change for Wild?
In wild, hunter is a much slower deck that depends on strong tempo plays - Piloted Shredder, Mad Scientist. Based on the deathrattles, N'Zoth makes sense too.
