Okay so this is my go at a Marsh Queen Deck, after I pulled it from a pack I really wanted it to be viable and I think I got pretty damn close. Will put up stats after a few votes. Remember this deck is very open to change, this is the best Marsh Queen in my opinion but I've been constantly making the deck better over the past day so it can probably improve.
Edit: - 1 Animal Companion & Alley Cat, + 1 Stonehill Defender and Hungry Crab
Edit 2: - 2 Raptor Hatchlings, + 2 Mistress of Mixtures
A lot of people have been talking smack, and that's fair but I've had pretty good lick with this deck and I know that I'll keep playing it. Maybe once I post a video you guys will get a better idea, this isn't a traditional hunter deck by any means you can take this deck into turn 15 or 20 and still win.
Card Choices:
Mandatory:
Alleycat - Great 1-drop
Fire Fly - Amazing in this deck, counts as 2 1-drops when you grab it, and takes up less space in this already tight deck
Fiery Bat - Adds a good deal of versatility and of course, is a 1 drop
The Marsh Queen - Duh
Coldlight Oracle - Absolutely necessary for card draw, which is how we win games, and the Hungry Crab synergy ain't too shabby. Also adds in another win condition, fatigue, because you'll never fatigue with this deck and forcing them to draw four is a pretty solid way to drive them to nothing. After busting a nut and holding your newborn child, the greatest feeling is watching cards burn because you dropped this guy.
Tol'vir Warden - I tried running this deck without Warden and honestly it was terrible, this grabs you your win condition and for some reason it's not a bad beater at 3/5
Tundra Rhino - Needed for one of your win conditions, drop Rhino and Brood on Broods for a solid 17 damage in 1 turn
Answers: (It's mostly against aggro)
Explosive Trap - Great anti-aggro, I used to run Eagle Horn Bow and this synergized well with that but taking that much face was not healthy
Grievious Bite - A relatively recent addition that I love, win rate shot up with this
Deadly Shot - With all the anti-aggro in this deck, it makes sense to include large removal. This card can literally win you the game alone.
Unleash the Hounds - Another anti-aggro card, combos well with animal companion if you get Leokk
Tech & Personal Choices: (Feel free to sub some of this stuff out if you want to edit the deck)
Hungry Crab - Pretty sick card, kills Warleaders and disrupts murloc tempo. It's not a dead draw because of cold light oracle. Ex. Rhino on board with oracle, attack with oracle, spawn crab with charge.
Elven Archer - Having a ping helps a lot, and again the 1-drop makes this deck go a lot faster
Raptor Hatchling - Not absolutely necessary but it adds another 1-drop to your deck with the death rattle and when you drop the 4/3 with Rhino it can end up being enough damage to win
Mistress of Mixtures - Tested it out, not a bad idea if you're a little low and need to buy time to get your combo off. Also a good turn 1 trader.
Tracking - Helps you grab your card draw or Rhino, I would put this under Mandatory but I could see some people running this deck without it. Albeit not an amazing deck, but a deck regardless.
Loot Hoarder - Novice Engineer is too slow, this one is less prone to Dirty Rat (Your worst fucking enemy) Also helps with the aggro win condition
Animal Companion - It can be pretty dope sometimes, two is far too clunky though
Yogg-Saron Hope's End - I fucking love this card. This guy alone is a win condition, running 11 spells means you can easily get 5 off on him and those 5 are enough to change the tide of the game completely.
Mulligan:
- The mulligan on this deck is generally pretty simple, go for your Loot Hoarder, Tol'vir Warden, Coldlight Oracle, Tracking anything that lets you draw or pick up the cards you want
- Take all your 1 drops and shove them back in your deck, they'll keep coming to you regardless so don't hold on to them
- Keep your anti-aggro if you're going up against aggro (no shit, right?)
- Tundra Rhino generally is a solid keep since it's mandatory for your main win condition, but if you are going up against aggro and you have no answers then it might make sense to toss it back (you'll grab him again dw)
General Match-up:
Aggro: Answer their aggro with grievous bite, explosive trap, unleash, etc.
Pirate Warrior: You might want to keep a few one drops to just trade, this is where firefly really shines. Pretty bad matchup
Token Druid: Same as pirate warrior except shy away from your one drops
Pali Murloc: Run some hungry crabs if you feel like you're facing this deck a lot
Control/Out-Value: Honestly a solid match-up, controlling the board early is easy. When they need you to run out of steam just drop Brood after Brood and show them what real value is.
Death Rattle Priest: They'll try and control the board but they'll be forced to use Warden pretty early as you can get in a lot of damage in one turn, so that's a plus. If they make it to n'zoth and you don't have yogg or a few brood in hand then it's probably game, so the goal is to end the match before that.
Any other Priest: They take crazy long to win and in many cases you can win the late game, same mulligan as the general one.
Quest Rogue is your greatest enemy, I have yet to learn how to consistently beat them
Any other deck is pretty much fair game, just follow the general mulligan guide.
Someone made a video playing the deck, check it out if you want. I'll probably make one later with more games.

25 Votes and I'll toss an elaborate match-up guide
50 Votes and I'll write up why certain cards will not work, ex. Kill Command is way too slow and other than some extra damage add anything to the deck's win condition
75 Votes and I'll start recording games
100 Votes and nudes + whatever information you guys need
There's one big issue on why this deck falls apart: There's no Kill Command. Why does the deck not have Kill Command? It's a required card with every Hunter. I do not know a single Hunter that doesn't use it. Even if they don't have a beast in play Kill Command can still be used to remove a minion, or go face.
Classic deck fortune / capability 90/10 if you are part of the 10 is beautiful otherwise .......
Waiting for a video of your game with this. Can't for the life of me get a win hahah ><
it's not too difficult. the general deck play style is to quickly draw nearly till the end of your deck BEFORE you finally play Queen Carnassa down so that your remaining play will always be a flood of minions.
the point of the deck is not to quickly achieve the The Marsh Queen quest completion but to survive long enough so that when you do play Queen Carnassa you increase the late game card draw so that it is almost always Carnassa's Brood when drawn.
thanks for the advice, got a better hang of it. How do you approach against aggro decks though
So i took this deck out for a run and i got 19-3. see the stats: http://imgur.com/a/Mt9uu
rank 9 to 5
with this exact same deck, i am actualy 19-3, this is awesome!
I've been playing with Hemet, Jungle Hunter , leaves me with tundra rhinos and the raptors produced by the quest only. Its an easy way to get lethal if they're at 20 hp or less, wouldnt necessarily recommend it but it makes for fun games one shotting
This isn't an aggro deck, you have to play the long game most of the time
I appreciate the attempt but this quest needs more 1 drop options to make it viable.
can see where you're coming from, hopefully next expansion helps out with that
Replacement for [card]Yogg-Saron, Hope's End[/card] ?
Any tech card that you want, I personally love Yogg and try to put him into any deck with 10+ spells
But just play around with it and see whatsup, maybe another late game card that can clear the board, like Deathwing?
Question: Why no Dinomancy? It would help stretch the value of lower level cards AND the raptors from the quest?
Will fill the slot of [card]Yogg-Saron, Hope's End[/card]. :D
Stay tuned for more info...
Guys i tried this deck at top 10 legend eu,na and asia and it rocks!A 75% win from Op is an UNDERSTATEMENT!I had 90% win ratio! You just are playing it wrong!
I am totally not lying!I also have 6 million euros on my bank account, two top model girlfriends and a 25cm d*ck.
Somewhat questionable. don't think you'll be able to complete the quest by turn 7 or 8. Oracle just give your opponent more things to kill you, and tracking can get rid of valuable 1 drops. Why is Yogg here btw? (not enough spells i think) You might need topdeck for the removals and your opponent not getting a combo off.
Update: apologies for the questioning tone earlier. Just had my doubt. We all just want to make quest hunter a little more competitive and enjoyable here.
If guys still want to see my elemental build:
http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/853812-quest-hunter-w-elementals
Dude I complete the quest almost always before turn 8
It's hunter, there are no heals
I literally have 6-8 anti-aggro cards
Not every single 1-drop is precious, that's why tracking works so well
Yogg is a win condition on it's own and you almost always hit turn 10 in this deck
Was just my opinion without testing. i will try your deck as well, and compare it to my own elemental build and let u know. Btw i don't have Yogg, but is 10 spells enough for a win condition though?
