It took me around 15 attempts, but when it all came together nicely, I won on turn 5.

I tried to beat him by stealing his weapon, but I got unlucky so many times that this didn't work.

The final attempt, that worked, was by buffing one apprentice to 16/16. He bashed his head into him twice and I was able to attack once, so that was already 48 HP gone. And then I only had to finish him by attacking with some small minions :)

Beat it after about 10 attempts. You really need to mulligan hard for what you need, if you don't start with either thoughtsteal or mindvision and at least one card to remove his weapon, you're going to lose and should restart. Ideal starting hand from what I can tell is divine spirit (which lets those free taunt minions last longer, and even withstand a hit from the sword), bloodsail corsair (cheaper weapon removal), and mindvision.

Turn 1 - use stone to take his taunt minions

Turn 2 - use divine spirit on undamaged 7hp taunt minion to make it 14hp

Turn 3 - use inner fire to turn it into a 14/14 minion

Turn 4 - use thoughtsteal to luck 2 swords from his deck

Turn 5 - draw a sword, he's already down 2 rounds of 14 hp hits, gg.

Lots, and lots of luck required.

It's a good idea to mind vision his weapon, but you have to be very lucky for that. I just finished him by a 20/20 lightspawn :D

I've been struggling to beat Razzy on Heroic with the Icy Veins decks; I beat him easily on the first try with your deck without taking a single hit. Thank you!

Thanks for help. Got him at 2nd try. I just want to correct a little mistake here. If you manage to steal one of his weapons, they are 10 / 2 at heroic mode, and hitting 20 to the Instructor's face, which makes the life easier. ^^

Last game was

turn 2 sword, kills a taunt, I destroy the weapon

turn 3 sword, kills a taunt, hits face, I destroy the weapon

turn 4 sword, kills a taunt with hero power and sargent, I'm dead

the sword 3 turns in a row... sigh

You have to get incredibly lucky to beat this guy, it could take you one try or it could take you ten just keep trying over if you don't get the right cards

Yeah, that's sort of how Heroic bosses work.

1-shotted.  nice deck.  If you get lucky and mind-steal "instructor's blade," you can do 40 damage to the face in 2 turns.  As it turns out, I didn't need that lucky break, but I got it anyways.  REKT!

this is the worst boss ever.. totally shit no skill required pure rng.. still haven't killed him..its just stupid
