So, welcome to my first deck from Un'goro standard. I am known as EzE or F I J I now and am a rank 6 player. I hover around 8-6 usually and have been trying to climb ladder to 5 and eventually to legend. I've been off and on since about 2015 but this has been my most serious year yet. I like brewing decks yet I end up playing tier 1 decks I see on tempo storm and have been bored with them so I eventually made my own shaman list since shaman is my favorite class and my most experienced one too. I have a MU spread to go along with this as this has been well thought out and theory crafted over the last week. The whole point of this deck is to kind of mirror some of the tier 1 to tier 2 midrange decks and have some of the qualities from shaman that other decks don't have access too. Against control, your tech options look like

-1 Lightning Storm -1 Nesting Roc

+2 Hex

Against aggro

-1 Mana Tide Totem

+1 Lightning Storm or Valcano

I say it is your choice as both have seemed to be good tech options but I feel lightning storm feels a little better against aggro druid and pirate warrior.

Now to the MU spread! Your matchups seem to be fairly decent with the worst MU's on this spread are still only 40/60 against you.

Midrange Curator Shaman MU spread

Beast Druid- 40%- Seems to be a very hard MU to beat. You can't be on the draw and have the plus side of trades. Living mana is great vs. this deck and you really have to prepare for it. if you can beat out the early aggression and save a devolve for living mana you have a chance but still seems highly in their favor. Mulligans would look like, tidecaller, claws, portal, jade lighting, devolve. If you see this deck a lot tech in another Lightning strike for the MU and a second portal.

Aggro Paladin- 60%- This might be a stretch but on the play if you are as fast as him you will be on the plus side of things and win later in the game. Midrange decks love trading agaisnt aggro and having the board presence still. If you accomplish this you win. Mulligans would look something like tidecaller, bilefin, claws, portal.

Pirate warrior- 70%- Now this might not be suprising but on either side of things I think you are in favor. Your mulligans look something like t1 Tidecaller, t2 bilefin, t3 warleader. Trade early then win with curator or Aya tempo plays.

Face hunter- 70%- This is kind of like pirate Warrior. basically you want to stop the aggression and win by out valueing your opponent with trading and coming out on top with a board. Watch out for kill commands and his hero power as it can sneak up on you and kill you if you aren't paying attention.

Midrange hunter- 50%- Now this is a very weird matchup. Lightning Storm got put in the deck because of this. You have trading power to come out on the better end of things but all the tokens it produces plus how much value he gets out of his cards can be a problem. Nonethless you have a good 30 card list that can be of better value than his. Mulligans look like Jade Claws, devolve, Portal, lightning Storm, Bilefin, tidecaller

Secret Mage- 60%- now this is in your favor only because this isn't as control as the Control Mage list is. You can be aggressive and overpower your opponent with your cards and have enough control yourself to win. Mulligans look like, Tidecaller, flametounge, claws, Rockpool, warleader.

Midrange paladin- 50%- I think all midrange decks are about 50% but this one seems harder. This might even be 45% for you. You have to be on an aggressive start with some control and that's hard to do sometimes. Trading can be difficult but if you can come out on top you have the W. Tirion is amazing and sunkeeper is awesome so try to play around those. Keep lightning storm up for tarim plays maybe and maybe tech in hex if his legendaries become a problem. Mulligans look like Tidecaller, Warleader, jade claws, Rockpool, devolve.

Jade Druid- 60%- This MU seems very much in favor for you since you can be aggressive enough to beat him but you can't beat him late game imo. Mulligans look something like tidecaller, bilefin, rockpool, warleader, megasaur.

Quest Rogue- 30%- Super hard. I don't think you can win if you aren't extremely fast. You have to pressure the board extremely hard to win which can be hard to do. Your hand needs to be aggressive if you want any chance to win.

Freeze Mage- 40%- You do kinda lose to this deck hard but compared to what I thought you would do I did find out that you are very resilient and can win if you play the long game. It's not totally unwinnable by any means

Control Mage- 35%- now this is low only cause I played against it once and my hand wasn't the greatest but nonetheless I think you do have a chance. The amount of early game kill spells and board wipes the deck has is daunting but maybe tech in a couple hexs and a jade chieftain and you could have a better shot.

I struggled to play against some other tier 1 or 2 decks like Taunt Warrior, Token Shaman, and Miracle Rogue but nonetheless I feel against Miracle Rogue and Token shaman you are in favor. You can kill the token shamans bored fast enough to make bloodlust a dead card and have a solid board yourself, and with Miracle rogue you have to watch out for the auctioneer and edwin but with devolve and the aggression you can give you should come out on top. Taunt warrior is one I do not have a clue for though. I imagine its in favor by only about 55% to your 45% only cause of the fact your objective is interfered by his slightly but you have enough early game pressure and late game bombs to hold out if played right.
