Control Priest is a control deck that relies on using removal spells available in the Priest class to out-value other control/aggro decks.
The deck often features Lyra the Sunshard and Elise the Trailblazer as late-game value-generating cards. The Control Priest's ability to survive minion swarm in the early game, and stabilize during the late game, makes it ideal to climb with when facing aggressive decks.
With proper tech choices, Control Priest becomes a decent choice to climb the ladder with, even though the games last longer than average.
