1.Intro

Hi Guys, this deck is inspired by acidzhs' version of the Secret Mage.
I started using his version at Rank 15 a couple of days ago and I am now at Rank 4 and running up like crazy.

I polished the deck along the way and now it's perfect.
I already tried removing Babling, as well as I added and removed several cards and combo of them. Now it's perfect, trust me, this is really the best version of the Secret Mage in this meta! :)
It counters every meta deck. I'm only having problems with Quest warriors but if you meet lots of them just change deck and come back to this later.

2.Mulligan Guide

Acidzhs' mulligan was perfect and I'm using his very same rules.

NOTE - in order for this deck to work you really need to follow this mulligan rules. I know some times it will happen that you will have what might look like a good combo of cards, but do not be tempted and follow this simple rules below! On the long run they will make you win consistently.

Keeps w/ the above/secret: [Kirin Tor Mage], [Kabal Lackey], [Frostbolt], [Babbling Book]

3.Strategy

The strategy with this deck is simple. Here you are some tips:

• You just play Arcanologist as fast as possible and play your secrets together with Lackey and Kirin.
• Keep Frostbolt to kill everything played by your opponent during the first turns of the game. Do not face Frostbolt on the enemy hero, NEVER!
• Use your pin and sacrifice your minions to kill everything on the battlefield.
• Use Mana Wyrm as a taunt. The moment you play it they will try to kill it, let them do it. They will just waste resources doing it.
• Try to predict when it's better to play Counterspell or Mirror Entity. If you do it right, it will make you win games, lots of games!
• Play Antonidas as soon as possible. If you played properly you should be able to generate at least a couple of Fireballs with him.

Here you are some more tips by Acidzhs.

Tip 1: Try holding on to Counterspell and play it after your opponent has played the coin.

Tip 2: Don’t play mirror entity too soon (before turn 3) unless if it can give you Medivh’s valet activation or a good curve. Turn 1 lackey into Mirror entity is not that good.

Tip 3: Firelands portal can give you an random charger or taunt, so play to your outs if you have to.

Tip 4: Try to play as much other stuff before playing Cabalist’s Tome. (but don’t start randomly trowing all your burst at the face when your opponent has healing :p )
