This deck is puzzling...
You have 1 potential minion play at 1 mana out of 4 cards...
You have a buff minion at 2 and a DS minion at 2 which only has the opportunity to play on curve if you draw Lost in the Jungle and don't mulligan it...which you almost certainly should in hopes of getting a 2 mana minion like Hydrologist which you can buff with one of the 1 mana choices.
Also...Lightfused Stegodon in a deck that doesn't even have Stand Against Darkness? Even then, that's a TURN 9 play to flood unless you hold coin for 8 turns? I mean, you could play it earlier, but turn 4 at the earliest, and at best you get 2 recruits with div shield or *maybe* +1/+1?
Your only other option for recruits is a 7 play that summons a single minion and negates your ability to play the ONLY straight taunt card you have in the deck which creates some control...on turn 7?
It's cheap, yeah, but what's the synergy here? What'st the theme? It looks like you were going for something like a slow recruit/buff/div shield control deck? I'm just not sure why you wouldn't have chosen 1 of those as a theme and built around it since I don't see how this avoids AOE clears through the mid game, is incredibly vulnerable to hard removal early on, and doesn't have a tempo shift card that makes up for any of that in the way that something like Tarim would?
Just trying to understand how and why you're playing this particular set of cards which seems to be missing the very best cards from each of its respective mechanics.
Apologies if that criticism came across as hostile. It wasn't really intended that way. I appreciate budget deck builders, and I've been trying to build a div/control ladder deck since Un'Goro released with SUPER limited success. So, I'm intrigued when people build decks that try to bolster the mechanic in some way.
I don't necessarily think that 'adapt' is a bad pairing for it. LS is a great card, with a reasonably solid body and the potential to create BIG value on board. It's also tempo card, but it seems too slow most of the time because its BEST possible play is as a late game board zerg with Stand Against Darkness. I was just trying to understand why you wouldn't PREFER one mechanic over the other and push it to the forefront. For instance, the value generated by Blood Knight (in a less budgeted deck) would be quite high here as it has the potential to be a tempo shift along the lines of a Tarim...except it plays out MUCH earlier. There is nothing quite like pushing a 6/6, or even 9/9 if you're just incredibly lucky, on turn 3. Or maybe even something like Frostwolf Warlord as a finisher? Pretty powerful tempo shift against a lot of decks on turn 8...especially if you can follow it up with Sunkeeper Tarim a turn or two later?
I like the idea of this deck -- especially the synergy that exists between Lightfused Stegodon, Steward of Darkshire, Stand Against Darkness, Sunkeeper Tarim, and Blood Knight.
I've never played a deck with Ivory Knight that I really enjoyed, but I'll give this a chance and see how it goes.
I wonder if Rallying Blade is a better choice here as opposed to Vinecleaver? I like the card in theory, but I'm not sure it's worth 7 mana with a card like Grimestreet Protector also sitting at that slot.
If you dropped it and added a Rallying Blade, that would free up a slot at 2 which could smooth out your curve.
Also...just so you know: You can always just edit the existing deck! You don't have to create an entirely new link. You can just pull cards, add new ones, and make a footnote about additions and include an update.
Handbuff cards with only 13 out of 30 cards being a minion.
You barely have minions to buff.
Played some games and deleted the deck as you always have to many spells and weapons in hand to really benefit from the buffs you can play.
Only 1 Lightfused Stegodon?
I haven't used it though it looks like a very nice cheap deck. Good job using the free epic card (from 5/20/2017)!
