Journey to Ungoro Guide
Total Deck Rating
If this deck grab some attention, i'll write guide :) GL on your brawl!
Congrats on the epic brawl wins. I'm gonna try this deck out right now!
I hope, you enjoy playing it, like i do :) This deck basicly a reason, why i have a golden warlock :D
Warlock is the only golden hero I am missing so I am playing it a lot right now. Unfortunately this deck did nothing for me. I went 0-10 with it before deleting it (luckily I'm at rank 15 so I can't drop further). I have no idea how you got 12 wins with it, but more power to you, sir.
There is no way this deck did 12 wins in heroic brawl.
This is why i post this deck here - 12 wins with non-meta deck :) What's the point of posting another pirate warrior or any other well-known deck? :DOf course i got lucky on some games, but, c'mon, this is Hearthstone.
Seems like a cool deck and I'm definatly gonna try this. I just gotta ask why Sylvanas isn't in the deck? Wouldn't she be relly powerfull combinded with N'zoth?
Yeah. She definatly would be a powerfull, but i simply couldnt find a place for her :D I think you could try to swap Loatheb or Siphon Soul for Sylvanas Windrunner to improve control matchups, but imo in this matchups you have enough power (mainly because Lord Jaraxxus) to beat almost any deck. Also need to mention Sylvanas can mess up N'Zoth, the Corruptor sometimes. I mean she could take a place of a second Sludge Belcher, when you really need a taunt to protect yourself.
Personally I'd replace Demonheart for Sylvanas. Loathed is a god and Siphon soul does the same thing but better. When you smash sylv on the board, she functions like a taunt (before n'zoth) anyway. She steals an enemy minion or atleast the opponent won't throw a big one when she's on the board.
I'm missing Thaurisan, Loatheb, demonwrath, and the two mistress of mixtures.
Any chance I could still make something good? Replacements?
Hm. Emperor Thaurissan is really important card here. He allows you to do Jaraxxus + Hero power on one turn. Could try to compensate this lack of tempo with lategame AoE, such as Twisting Nether.Demonwrath can be replaced with Doomsayer probably, to hold out early game.Loatheb is a really good "board-safer", and he can prevent burst damage on you. But still i think you can replace him with another good 5-drop, maybe Elise the Trailblazer or Azure Drake. You miss Mistress of Mixtures, or Mistress of Pain? Cause if Mistress of Pain, there is going to be much more replacements. No real need for Demonheart and Demonfire. You can replace this package with 2x Mistress of Mixtures or 2x Zombie Chow, or 1x Mistress of Mixtures and Zombie Chow. But this make your N'Zoth weaker, unfortunatly.
Instead of Demonfire and Demonheart you can try put 2x Darkpeddlers, to improve early game. Another strong replacements is a second Blastcrystal Potion, and/or Bane of Doom.
Looks interesting, was looking for a nice renolock build to try but this looks like it could work also. Did the deck ever struggle with survivability?
No, like ever. 2x Sludge Belchers, 2x Antique Healbots and Lord Jaraxxus give you enough health to outstand any burst, also Mistress of Pain can give some sustain against aggro (especially if you combo it with Demonfire/Demonheart/Defender of Argus. I was "in danger zone" only like one game (excluding one i lose ofc) against Shaman (and only because i didn't draw Antique Healbot).
Thanks for your reply, I've never played controlock before. I used to play renolock back before the wild/standard change. Just curious how you think this deck is in comparison to say a nzoth renolock in terms of how well it performs?
Only disadvantage compared to Reno is a lack of Kazakus potion, that's all (but honestly it's not really that much of a disadvantage, i was able to clear full N'Zoth board even without potion and Twisting Nether). But you have a better curve, and average value of cards is also better. Like you have 2x copy of a really strong cards (Darkbomb, Piloted Shredder, Antique Healbot, Sludge Belcher, Imp Gang Boss, etc.). Because of that you have a better N'Zoth value, imo. 4x Sludge Belchers and Piloted Shredders in one game is ridiculous (who need that slow Sylvanas anyways :D).Another strong point of this deck, compared to Reno is a better "after-Jaraxxus-game". Mostly because a Sludge Belcher and Antique Healbot again. I win most of my game because of that, i think :)P.S - Sorry if i messed up my english somewhere. It's not my native language :)
