Pretty much as in title. It keeps in check pretty much all of the current aggro decks such as Druids or Hunters. It deals fairly well with flavour of the week Paladin-Murloc decks as well. The one matchup I had problems with (ranks 5-1) was Freeze Mage.

The key against aggro decks is Wild Pyromancer, one good Pyro turn and it's basically over, especially with Potion of Madness.

Against more control decks (or heavier midrange) Lyra the Sunshard, Medivh, the Guardian, Mind Control and Free From Amber are pretty much always enough to secure game-wining value. Not even mentioning Elise the Trailblazer and Shadow Visions.

 

Possible tech choices:

- Kabal Talonpriest + Gluttonous Ooze: if you're facing a lot of Pirate Warriors.

- Elise the Trailblazer + Holy Nova: if you're facing a lot of aggro decks, especially Hunters. That's what I'm using now, because start of the season is really infested with those kinds of decks.
