Some person used a Wisp as a starter card in his deck to trigger the quest as early as possible in the Hearthstone Global Games earlier today.
Not sure if you're joking but I'll assume that you aren't. Edwin Vancleef, Patches, and Moroes can be replaced but definitely not the Caverns Below, for obvious reasons. Patches is very good. Vancleef you can do without if you're on tight budget. Moroes is not necessary.
There are no direct replacements, but the elemental package is quite good to run in this deck. You might want to experiment with it. That is, Fire Fly and Igneous Elemental.
The quest must be nerfed..
is a biteweed a good replacement for edwin???
no
what is a good replacement then?
Questing Adventurer or Biteweed
1600 Dust, or 3200 if you want to be cool
Other time "What is the best replace for patches?"
In my playing of these decks, he's not absolutely necessary. So if you find you need more board wipe, go for that.
You got incredibly lucky whilst massively miss-playing in the early game. Turn 3 you start by playing prep when arguably you should really save it for for use with teacher which you have in hand or later to use with the quest spell (there's no reason to play the prep, no imminent threat from Taunt Warrior which is super slow and you have no good follow up to use your manna on if you don't draw into something). You draw into shadow step and use them both. You should instead have just used one to rescue your Novice Engineer and save the next, again to use with teacher or to enable a combo with something else on turn 4. Then you play your first Novice for the third time, leaving it stranded on board when you should have kept it in hand. You were incredibly lucky to draw into the second novice otherwise next turn your first Novice would have be killed on board losing your future chances to bounce it to complete the quest. If you hadn't drawn into the 2nd novice you would have been f'ked. I didn't watch pass turn 3...
What is the best replace for patches?
U probally need patches... :/
Really enjoy the concept of this and having fun. My win rate is pretty bad though - guess I just need to learn the deck :P
You do realise that you just asked and answered your own question right?
"Why is everyone angry about this pants on head retarded aggro deck that wins by turn 6 with no way to counter its mechanic? All you need to beat it is a pants on head retarded deck that wins by turn 5!"
It's not like Blizzard has once again perpetuated the aggro meta when it had its greatest opportunity to give us at least some semblace of control/midrange.
No, I think I read that pretty comprehensively. Your baby rage makes you sound like a child, however.
Quest Rogue decks are obnoxious aggro decks. The only counter I can find so far that isn't "just play something faster!" is to hope you can pull their 4th play of a minion with Dirty Rat. Good luck with that though.
This has to be, without a doubt, the worst deck I have ever played in this game. I'm so happy I spent over 8K dust to craft this miserable shit heap. It is the most RNG heavy piece of crap I've ever played, horribly slow and has a 90% loss rate unless you pull the PERFECT cards. Utter crap.
I think you need to git gud.
Oh, I'm sorry. Is there something I'm missing that makes the RNG odds better?
