This deck will give you the best chance at beating Heroic Maexxna.

Since he returns minions we pretty much play none, except for novice engineer and bloodmage thalnos.

You can literally draw all day with him returning your novice engineer.  

Turn 1-8 just stall by freezing, dropping vaporize and ice barrier as necessary.  Make sure to have your ice block set up by turn 8 so you can Alex on turn 9 and burn him down on turn 10.

You can easily replace Bloodmage Thalnos with a geomancer or anything else you like that is low mana cost and either grants you spellpower or a battlecry so it immediately has an impact. Alexstraza is not replaceable.
