Hi guys, really nothing that new about this deck.

I do not claim to be a innovator of the Renolock deck, just simply sharing what tech choices have worked out for me this season and how to play them.

Proof of legend:

About me: My name is Justin or BrokenWings on hearthstone, I am a several time legend player peaking at 350 or so.  You can follow me on twitch to learn more tips and tricks for free! :)  http://www.twitch.tv/dazdnconfused.

I was playing some reno this month and last but was really trying to push into legend with the broken aggro shaman cancer that is around.  When I hit rank 1 with shaman I fell to 3 and kept going up from 4 to 2 over and over.  I realized the meta is kind of stale, and a lot of people were playing pirate war/aggro shaman/mid shaman and priest.  Renolock does well against all of these decks, especially teched for anti-aggro (priest wouldnt be considered aggro but most of them are dragon right now and it struggles against renolock in general).

Note that this deck got me from 3 to legend, so it may not be as good at the lower ranks those were the only ranks I was playing this exact build at.

A noteable tech card is Crazed Alchemist.

I first saw fr0zen using this card against me and I was confused until I realized he just swapped my flametongue totem into oblivion.  It really is useful, you can also swap your high health minions like twilight drake to use as a finisher.  Its a great tech card.

Other than that this deck focuses mostly on stopping that early aggro with things like Voidwalker and [Mistress of Mixtures[/card].  A lot of the decks out there dont run both of these in addition to a Soulfire.  I dont have Emperor Thaurissan or Sylvanas Windrunner as I made more slots available for early game cards, and besides this deck isn't running the Leeroy combo.

Mulligans:

Shaman:

Aggro:

Mistress of MixturesMortal CoilKazakusReno JacksonAcidic Swamp OozeHellfireVoidwalkerBlastcrystal PotionDemonwrath

The trick vs Aggro is use AOE at the right time, having reno or khaz in your starting hand improves your chances exponentially.  Expect the faceless on turn 4 every time and hopefully you have soulfire + a minion or blastcrystal ready.

Mid/Jade:

Mistress of MixturesShadow BoltKazakusReno JacksonAcidic Swamp OozeHellfireBrann Bronzebeard

Renolock is pretty good against this matchup, I usually always mulligan for aggro shaman and the mulligans are close but if you know or have a strong feeling the opponent is playing this style it is nice to have the Brann Khaz combo for double potions.  Using your AOE at the correct board states is crucial to winning this game and takes practice, do not waste resources versus these guys or you will pay.  Also something to note is that Jaraxxus is very strong in this matchup as they lack overall spell burst potential, but beware of the decks that slip in a bloodlust for this very matchup.

Control:

About the same as mid jade.. if they are using deathrattle cards try to get the poly 10 cost potion and use it after the N'zoth turn.

Warrior:

Pirate/Aggro:Mistress of MixturesMortal CoilKazakusReno JacksonAcidic Swamp OozeHellfireVoidwalkerBlastcrystal PotionDemonwrathShadow Bolt

This is a tougher matchup than aggro shaman, as they can be super bursty with high damage weapons, shaman is a little more board heavy initially.  The key is to save ooze until either an upgraded war axe happens or arcanite comes out.  Also having shadow bolt for that pesky frothing is huge.  If you dont have reno or khazakus early on its a very tough game but very winnable.  Dont be afraid to regularly use AOE in this matchup, keeping the board clear, using heals and oozing at the right time is how you win.  A good argus has also won me plenty of matches here.

Dragon/Tempo:Mistress of MixturesMortal CoilKazakusReno JacksonAcidic Swamp OozeHellfireVoidwalkerBlastcrystal PotionDemonwrathShadow Bolt.

Pretty much the same mulligan, if you make it past the early game with Alex champ's and frothings it is a pretty easy matchup.  These guys have large single target minions and less numbers in terms of minions out at any time.  Try to stay above 15hp for the crushers and have a way to deal with ragnaros and you win.
