If you have not won and it's turn 7, chances are that you're going to lose.
I see. So, you really don't need card draw is what you're saying. I could see that.
My question was because often in face decks, getting that Finley late game to try for a different hero power can be just enough to get you over the hump. However, I can see your points.
Great deck mate, bcs of that war cancer that is nowdays around i have replaced the lance carrier with ooze, helps quite alot... also vs that few hunters you encounter. Atm testing deck on rank 9
You're better off playing pirate warrior.
not everyone can invest 1.6k dust for patches brah
this deck is a lot more fun than pirate warrior
haha funny deck easy ranking up now xD
room for genzo the shark? since you dump your hand this can refill just like jeeves in the old days
What about Moroes ?
too slow
Fun to play. Have a try
35-13 with the deck so far this month.
I subbed out 2x Runic Egg for 2x Loot Hoarder. It slows how quickly I can dump my hand (slightly), but it's a much better topdeck. Seems to provide more consistent card draw because it doesn't require a buff.
Shaman, Priest, Rogue can be hard matchups IF they can keep your board clear early. Very favorable against Pirate Warrior, as they don't run any board clears. Good against slower Druids, and the other random stuff you'll run into.
Wait, I just realized... No Innervate?
Why would you include Innervate when 22/30 of the cards in this deck can be played on turn 1 and 2?
This deck wins early and often. And even better, it's super fun to play. Thanks!
I have missed egg Druid, thanks for posting this deck! :). So far 5-0 but just at rank 15 right now. But easy wins so far and very fun to play.
0\5 so far
Why Lance Carrier over Dire Wolf Alpha? I understand that with SO many important 3 health minions around right now Lance Carrier seems pretty good, but don't Mark of the Wild Mark of Y'Shaarj generally do the trick? There aren't too many 2 health minions compared to 1s and 3s being played right now, making Dire Wolf Alpha potentially pretty irrelevant, but I still feel like with just the eggs, the fact that Wolf's ability is static, and Wolf's naturally higher stats would make it better in the Lance Carrier spot as it can help punish things like Small time buccaneer and early jade tokens. I don't think any decision is inherently wrong, but could somebody explain J4CKIECHAN's preference for me in more depth? I understand the choice made and why but I just don't think it seems optimal.
No hate, just a genuine question for anybody who knows.
I think the purpose of Lance Carrier over Dire Wolf Alpha is that it has better synergy with the Dragon Egg. Starting with 0 attack makes the 2 damage a significant increase from the 1 of dire wolf. Not to mention another big benefit of this deck is that all of the minions are very sticky making it easy to utilize cards like Mark of the Lotus and Savage Roar. The 2/2 body of dire wolf alpha is not very sticky.
On top of all that, the damage buff lance carrier provides is permanent, while the +1 from dire wolf only lasts as long as you can keep the 2/2 alive. The only real resources this deck has to protect a dire wolf are making taunts with Mark of the Wild and Defender of Argus, which aren't efficient in terms of protecting other minions on board, again because the point of the deck is to play a lot of sticky minions.
Not sure if that is the poster's opinion but that's my opinion on the choice.
Really solid against slower decks, has game against some aggressive decks. Midrange decks are your issue here. Shaman and Dragon Priest will remove your board by value trades and AOE before you can lethal them. Definitely a fun and innovative deck.
