Hi guys, was testing out the diff archetypes of jade shaman and found that this deck works pretty well against control(3-1) and zoo(2-0), thus if you are a player who appreciates long games or just wanna make zoo players salt (No offence), then this is the deck for you! Have fun on the hearth!
*Will do an in-depth writeup if response is good XD*
*Edit* Removed 1 Devolve and 1 Lotus Agents for 2 Tunnel Trogg to better utilize overload mechanic.
*Edit 2* Took out 2 Lava Shock, 2 Healing Wave for 2 Lightning Bolt 1 Bloodmage Thalnos and 1 Azure Drake.
Reason: Lava Shock isn't really viable for the late game due to its damage output and I found more consistency with Lightning Bolt instead. Furthermore, it also works well with Tunnel Trogg. Took out both Healing Wave as there is already Hallazeal the Ascended and there isn't really much high mana cost creatures in this deck, thus I feel that Healing Wave is kinda underwhelming in this deck. Lastly, I was initially intending to put 2 Azure Drake into this deck but in the end, I had to give Bloodmage Thalnos a chance, I mean who can say no to spell damage+Card draw for 2 mana right? And it actually worked beautifully.
To conclude, this deck is the elite in jade archetype deck and I have won countless jade druid and jade rogue's. It also excels in control matchups due to the number of jade golems you can summon. Once your jade golems hit 5/5 onwards, it will be very satisfying to see your opp start using premium removals on them. And once turn 10 comes, don't even hesitate to drop your brann chieftain combo and see your opp instant concede. All in all, a really fun deck to play and I think this will be my rank deck for the next few seasons to come. Cheers and have a great day in hearth!
I am pretty sure I can fit in N'Zoth, the Corruptor somewhere
You technically can try nzoth, but I find it too slow since you would normally(60% of the time) win before turn 10 due to your ramped up jade golems, and if you were to reach turn 10, brann chieftain combo would be sufficient to make your opp concede. But of course it won't hurt to try nzoth, I would say to swap out jade chieftain for nzoth. Do update if possible about how the swap worked for you :)
Thanks for the support mate, really appreciate some felllow jade shaman lover here HAHA. Through your post, it seems like you're more of a rng basedplayer, but this deck is focused purely on control and on the comebacks during the later half of the game. For this deck to work, you must firstly not be afraid of overload or being short on mana as thats the sacrifice you will need if you wanna win, secondly don't be stingy with youe aoe's, even if there are only 2 minions on board, theres a reason why theres 4 aoe spells in this deck! Lastly, don't be afraid to take damage, you have so many aoe's and removal spells, which is why you must always wait for the right moment when your opp gets desperate and over commits the board, thats when you drop those disgusting AOE's on them and see the salt in their eyes XD.
And yes, I do agree that white eyes is essential in this deck, especially in the current meta as I'm finding myself facing many druid and rogues and with druid having its own 'gangup', it's nice to have a cycle card for shaman in the form of taunts! And comeon, the artwork is S.I.C.K for white eyes and dayum your a lucky fella to get him in gold! May he continue to bring you victory in your games :D.
To conclude this really long post, the playstyle is really up to you as some may prefer abit of rng incorporated intontheir games as I too have tried out jade lotus agents and did get the cards that saved my ass BUT I don't find a 5/3 any better than a 4/4 as it is still easily removed. But who am I to tell people what cards to play in a deck right? The main thing is still to have fun at the end of the day, hope this helps in helping you to choose your playstyle for the jade shaman archetype :) Cheers!
Thing from below is the perfect replacement for white eye, whereas for hallazeal, it may be abit hard but i would say to replace it with 1 'more azure drake. Reason being tbh, I have never yet got to the point of using hallazeal to its max potential yet while playing this deck since my opp would normally concede on turn 10 or be overwhelmed with my jade golems, thus I don't think healing wave will be any more useful which is why I would recommend azure drake for that extra spell dmg and card draw :)
No probs! I would say go for white eye just for its value. Good recommendation on Jinyu though, I jist might test him out in my deck as well!
Not sure if either of those two are worth crafting if there are other cards you need, but yeah Jinyu is actually pretty awesome. I run him in my version and he can be quite helpful
