EDIT 12/6/16:

Added +2 Small-Time Buccaneer, +1 Swashburglar, +2 Defender of Argus, +1 Brann Bronzebeard, +1 Xaril, Poisoned Mind
This is the most drastic and probably final edit I have for this deck. I've leaned away from the end-game, and I'm trying a more agressive approach (this isn't an aggro deck, don't worry). These changes have increased my winrates against Pirate Warrior and Jade Druid, so it's probably for the best. I'll update the guide and card choices soon.
EDIT 12/5/16:
Removed -1 Sap, -1 Swashburglar. Added +1 Mistress of Mixtures, +1 Acidic Swamp Ooze
EDIT 12/3/16:
Removed -1 Dark Iron Skulker, -1 Sylvanas Windrunner, -1 Mistress of Mixtures, -2 Infested Tauren, -1 Shadow Strike
Added +2 Azure Drake, +2 Undercity Huckster, +2 Sap.
These changes essentially removed all my "anti-aggro" tech cards (with an exception of Sylvanas) I placed in preparation of Day 1 of the ladder, which is assumed to be filled with aggro decks going for an easy climb. Now that I've passed Rank 4, these tech cards are no longer necessary.
Disclaimer:
This deck and guide are a few months old. I am busy with school, so I don't know how this would fare in the current meta. Feel free to leave me a question, but it might be a day before I am able to respond.
THE GUIDE
"Guide" is a difficult way to explain this. Using the word "Guide", it is assumed I'll give you every bit of knowledge you'll need in order to master this deck. Unfortunately, I can't predict every situation or opposing deck, so don't see this as an official list of rules, simply play the way you believe is right.
Jade Rogue is nothing complex. It's just Tempo Rogue of yesteryear replaced with a few new released cards in order to give you a second win condition: Jade Golem. As such, try playing for Tempo as often as you can, with the exception of a few cards. Even if you can't combo with your Jade Shuriken, if it gives you board control, use it. Never play a card "because you can". Think about why you're playing it, and if you're playing it for Tempo of Value. Unless you're ahead on the board, play for Tempo. Of course, I can't predict every situation so value could be the right play. I'll leave that to your own jurusdiction.
In terms of card draw, this deck has very little because each card has enough impact on it's own there shouldn't be a need for much. Swashburglar, Undercity Huckster, and Bloodmage Thalnos are all ways you can garner new cards. Try to use your cards more conservatively; if you play your entire hand to deal with one minion you WILL lose.
THE MULLIGAN
Always keep: Undercity Huckster, Swashburglar, Jade Shuriken, Jade Swarmer, Backstab, Small-Time Buccaneer.
With coin: SI:7 Agent, Tomb Pillager.
Against Aggro: Fan of Knives, Eviscerate.
Additionally, keepSI:7 Agent if you haveBackstab regardless if you have the coin or not.
THE CARDS
Backstab: The best tempo card in the game. Also a great combo starter.
Swashburglar: An amazing one drop. This is one of our "value" cards that's too good to leave out.
Bloodmage Thalnos: He's really, really good. Need a little bit more out of your Fan of Knives? He's got you covered. Card draw? He's got that too. N'zoth even brings him back!
Eviscerate: This card should almost always be comboed. A better contender for 2 mana 2 damage would be [card]Jade Shuriken[card].
Jade Swarmer: It's supposed to die. That's really it.
Jade Shuriken: Don't worry too much about getting a Golem from this card, but it's always a nice option if available.
Sap: Soft removal at a nice price. Taunt in the way? Sap it. A buffed minion? Sap it. The bigger target you can get, the better, as it causes them to spend more mana for a resummon.
Undercity Huckster: Probably the best turn two play. Great synergy with N'zoth, and more often than not gives you a good card along with board presence.
Fan of Knives: R.I.P Blade Flurry. This is the next best thing we have for AoE. Wonderful if you can combo it with Azure Drake or Bloodmage Thalnos.
SI:7 Agent: If you have the coin, keep this guy in your hand during the mulligan. Turn two coin into SI is devastating if you can take a minion with you.
Unearthed Raptor: Don't be afraid to drop this even if you don't get a Deathrattle effect. It's body is solid on it's own for the mana cost.
Jade Spirit: Good value once you start summoning 2/2 golems or above.
Tomb Pillager: The coin dropped from this minion is fantastic for activating comboes or bringing out N'zoth one turn early.
Azure Drake: Instand draw, Spell Damage, and a decent body. There's a reason this is one of the most included cards in all Hearthstone decks.
Lotus Agents: This is probably the most controversial card in the deck. Yes, I do believe that Grimestreet Informant and Kabal Courier are much better cards, but being able to access the very strong Shaman and Druid cards is too much of a temptation to pass up. Jade Idol is one of the best cards you can pull.
Aya Blackpaw: The best Jade Golem card in the game. The stats are superb, not to mention your ability to revive her with N'zoth.
N'Zoth, the Corruptor: Your win condition. Only play N'zoth if you have at least two high-value deathrattle minions dead (Aya, Pillager, etc.)
Why the decision to remove Sylvanas Windrunner? It's more of a preferential thing, honestly. The value and potential from Lotus Agents gave me more wins overall, but she does create a scary board and have Deathrattle synergy. Use whichever you prefer.
personally, i find him as a sealant to this deck and he really caps things off for good. But if you want a replacement, possibly a second azure drake
Hello, TheAverageHero and other!
Here is our 5 cents about this deck:
Played 20 games and have overall score 12 to 8. Will play it in the future for sure.
Our replacements are:
Added.
2 copies of Defender of Argus. They are good against Agro, but also can remove your minions from Shadow Words of Priest.
Brann Bronzebeard. We have enough Battlecries for him. Just +4 damage with Argus. That was one of the lethals by this Rogue.
Removed.
1 Sap. I don’t know a lot of targets in current META for this card.
1 Lotus Agents. Too slow as for me. And too random.
1 Acidic Swamp Ooze. I know that there are a lot of weapons, but like play 0 or 2 copies of it, because if you need it – you never find, if no – it is always in your hand or useless topdeck. Maybe we can play 2 copies of them instead of N'Zoth and something else?
Just 3 games ended after 13 turn. Overwhelming majority ended in 9-12 turn. I played N’Zoth just once of 20 games, but can win without him for sure. Just wanted to play. It was last 20th game. So, N’Zoth is too slow for this deck.
I won all games against other Jade decks. Neither Druids nor Shamans are better than this Rogue. I like this very much!
Finally the short video about testing with a fun moment in it.
Best regards,
Ashley.
Thanks for the detailed reply! Maybe it's just me personally, but I haven't been playing against as much aggro as everyone else. Those changes are probably worth it... And I'm pretty convinced that I should remove Sap at this point in time, but I'm still on the fence about N'zoth. He provides us with more Golems, but if the meta is as fast as you say it is, including Gang Up to be used on Aya might be smarter.
We tried Gang Up today on Dave's account. 7 games never played :)
Try Defender of Argus. He is real value today.
not gonna lie, n'zoth has personally saved me 3 times out of the 15 games or so that ive played. Rather not saved but, sealed the deal :) i admire your suggestion but im keeping n'zoth!
One thing I don't understand is how people survive using this deck. Midrange druid, without jades and dragon priest generate way too much tempo for this deck to handle without any taunts or healing. You need to have a very good luck in order to survive until turn 8 against midrange decks, and aggro is just unbeatable!
Trying really hard at Rank 2! I should have time to hit Legend this weekend, I've just been busy because of school.
Any room for Xaril?
-1 sap +1 xaril
Well the official list only has 1 Sap now, so probably -1 Lotus Agents.
hmmm i guess so, even though i admire the lotus as much as you do, xaril would probably fit his place Dx
-1 swashburglar -1 sap, +1 mistress of mixtures +1 sunfury protector.
sunfury protector wins games!
I like these anti-aggro techs
Yep, and only the removal of 2 weak-link cards can save you <sometimes> from aggro warrior and what not. if you really need it, raptor into mistress is a very desperate attempt, but works.
also, i personally think 2 saps is a weak link in any deck, seeing that i mostly only need one in each game. the removal of 1 swashburglar is acceptable at the cost of putting another one drop in the deck. plus the 2/2 body helps with early game tempo. and whats nice is that as rogue, we dont really care if the opponent gets some healing (unless youre running maly rogue of course)
hope you find it beneficial!
We're playing Jade Rogue, not Deathrattle Rogue. We have plenty of good Deathrattles already, plus it might be too slow.
I like those changes, I might try a few of them myself. Thanks! I've currently hit a wall at Rank 3 and this might just be what I need
sap is useless against aggro and against control you win anyway. also lotus agents is terrible an auctioneer is way better
Yeah, I'm already planning on removing 1x Sap, but Lotus Agents have won me too many games for me to remove them. Auctioneer is good for Miracle Rogue, but this deck doesn't have enough spells to make him worth it.
Tried this out without Aya and did OK surprisingly. Disclosure, I'm around rank 19-18 and running mostly into midrange/control types. Ran into aggro Paladin and won somehow, lost to Hunter that went face a lot SMOrc. I'll probably keep messing around with it, thanks for the list.
That's probably because I removed all the anti aggro tech cards, if you're having such a big problem with Warriors. Check them out at the top of the guide. I have a %60 winrate so far at Rank 3, so I assume you're only playing the decks worst matchups.
