what's up boys, here with dragon paladin, took a long to optimize it because a lot of cards seems to fit but i think i ended building a solid and consistent midrange version, the deck is really fun to play, a lot of decision making and has a decent matchup against hunter decks and shaman also so is viable to ladder.

Explanations about the cards

x2 Doomsayer: Anti aggro card, best paladin two drop and still useful late game to heal/get free turns

x1 Equality: Two is clunky in this deck, board clear alongside consecration, use it well because it's only one!

x2 Faerie Dragon: Decent two drop and dragon activator, the spell inmunity helps against the worst matchup (tempo mage)

x2 Netherspite Historian: Good and versatile card, useful to get situational but good dragons like alex, chillmaw, ysera etc. it's not a good two drop so don't keep it in your starting hand

x2 Aldor Peacekeeper: Staple on paladin decks, here had a aditional utility with Book Wyrm

x2 Blackwing Technician: 3/5 for 3 is good, nice to contest usual 3 attack minions and stuff, i prefer this over Nightbane Templar because i'm always afraid of dropping Nightbane and getting AoE'd by shaman

x1 Nightbane Templar: Still running one of this because consistency on 3 slot and still good, especially against hunter because it trades decent against Grandmother

x2 Consecration: Staple, especially in a heavy shaman based meta

x1 Keeper of Uldaman: It's a good card in this meta especially because it's the best card to use against Ragnaros, also it's and aditional card to deal against those annoying Arcane Giants

x2 Truesilver Champion: Staple

x2 Twilight Guardian: Staple on dragon decks, taunt is good

x2 Azure Drake: Cycle is very important on this deck, and is a dragon so we take this

x2 Blackwing Corruptor: Staple too really good card the mini

x2 Dragon Consort: Amazing card, the tempo swings with this card is like the main win-condition with this deck against most of the decks

x2 Book Wyrm: Another amazing card, proactivity is always requiered and helps and is a efficient way to kill annoying cards like Teacher or Thunder-Bluff

x1 Lay on Hands: Cards and Healing is something that this deck needs a lot so this is like a perfect card for this deck, is really anti-tempo so be careful

x1 Ragnaros, Lightlord: 8 mana 8/8 that heals you for 8 and has pseudo-taunt, we take it

x1 Tirion Fordring: another staple on almost all paladin decks, still be careful with this card you don't want to lose against Sylvanas+Shield Slam or Hex.

Mulligan: Faerie DragonDoomsayer, Blackwing Technician, Nightbane Templar, Twilight Guardian only with a good starting hand, Truesilver Champion against Rogue

Matchups

Warrior: against dragon you just want to survive and then outvalue so play your cards efficiently, control is a fatigue matchup so don't draw too much, lay of hands is a dead card.

Shaman: try to save at least Book Wyrm for Thunder-Bluff, winning the board doesn't mean you win the game because that deck runs a lot of AoE so be careful, it's a decent matchup in general i will say, Doomhammer is the most scary card and the reason of most of the loses against the deck

Druid: 40/60 i will say, try to have a board early to fight against the annoying threats on Fandral and Teacher, don't use your Aldor on small threats, that's game losing

Warlock: Zoo is a good matchup, just win the board at all cost, Renolock is also good because a lot of threats and he has to play reactive all the time and he's ending losing most of the time

Mage: Tempo Mage is a bad matchup because when you get the answers to the cards (Corruptor and Wyrm), you're usually dead because Mana Wyrm Sorcerer Flamewaker Mirror Image stuff, especially Mirror Image is really annoying because Blocks Truesilver i don't have faced freeze mages so i don't know the matchup, i think is good but not sure

Rogue: In general the matchup is good, Questing Adventurer + Conceal is really bad for the deck but in general you should be fine

Hunter: One of the better matchups of the deck, most of the time you outvalue the hunter and they become out of cards and even Call of the Wild is not enough

Paladin: Anyfin is unfavorable and but winnable, N'Zoth versions are good matchups, Aggro version are favorable too

Priest: Favorable most of the time, Resurrect is hard to deal if they got the blademaster

Cards that didn't make the cut

Brann Bronzebeard: the reason is i prefer stronger 3 drops in this deck and i don't need more value from cards like Historian, i think is better to run better minions by itself on the deck than combo minions like brann

Wild Pyromancer: Doesn't have the dragon tag and i only run one equality so is not that good

Ivory Knight: Body is weak, usually discovered card is not good and heals just a bit, i love him in control paladin decks but doesn't make the cut here

i wanted to post this because i want to post something underused with a lot of potential like this, also is the best deck that i builded so enjoy it!

PD: English is not my mother language so i'm sure this has a lot of gramatical problems so sorry for that.
