Introductions:
Hey my IGN is Janos, and I play for the danish team - Copenhagen Flames. Some of you might remember me from my other guides on Hearthpwn ( https://goo.gl/FWWq5b ), and furthermore I have been legend 27x times. I've won some danish tournaments, and also some online tournaments. In my last guide I mentioned how I'd like to expand my collection of Hearthstone guides, and this is now my third one. This is my winrate 22.-24. September and i'm atm top 10# legend with the deck.
HOW TO MULLIGAN AGAINST ALL 9 CLASSES:
The mulligan in this deck is actually easy and almost similar vs all classes.
I have called the most important cards 'Key Cards' to make it easier to understand, but the Key Cards are some you need to KEEP

STRATEGY:
Against aggro: You have to play as defensive as possible, you really just want to get the board in order to survive. In this matchup you often don't need to get full value of your cards. Normally a card like Hex is really good at clearing a big minion, but in this matchup you sometimes have to use it on just a 3/2 in order to survive.
Against control: You have to play as slow as possible. You should seek to outvalue your opponent. In this matchup you will need to get full value of your cards and always be aware of using your Thunder Bluff Valiant in a smart way.
Against midrange: You have to fight hard for the board in this matchup, and with your 4 AOE clears and a lot of summon minions, this deck is really good to get board control. Sometimes when you get 'the nuts' with Tunnel + Totem Golem etc then you can play it aggressive instead.
CARD REPLACEMENTS:
First I want to stress that I really don't recommend replacing any single card in this deck, but these are the replacements you can make if you're forced to.
If you're missing any other cards than those listed below, I strongly suggest for you to venture out and find another deck, because the possibilities of this deck and the ranks you're able to reach with it are very diminished when you're missing too many vital cards. I expect for you to have cards from adventures.

It's a really good card in this deck, because it works great with Spirit Claws and with all the damage spells in this deck and the card draw is a really nice. If you don't have this card I suggest you replace it with the good old:

I don't know why, but for some reason a lot of people don't think Barnes is good enough in this deck, but i think it's great in this deck and you need a 4-drop. You can get Thunder, Mana Tide, Flametongue, Bloodmage & Trogg is decent too. Any Totem you get will reduce Thing from Below. Azure Drake can be good if you have Spirit Claws equipped or a damage spell in your hand. So the only 2 really bad card you can get is Tuskarr and Thing From Below, (2/9 chance) But it's still 4/5 stats for 4 mana which is decent. If you're one of the guys who don't like Barnes or just don't have the card, I suggest you replace it with:

I reached Legend for the first time with this deck last season as you can see on the video, and if you follow the playlist link under the video, you will find lots of videos of commentated games playing it. But I found another deck that boosted my win rate at legend after, there are the video and the playlist link just after the first one.
I also went from rank 7 to 1 with the third shaman deck list (again video and playlist after).

I beat a C'thun warrior first game
Hey, would be nice if you could help me.
I got legend 3 times in total but the last season and this season, seem like im stuck.
Only manage to get rank 2 4 stars last season while this season im stuck at rank 18, drop from 16 for 2 days now.
I always lose to the aoe clear when i play decks like hunter and zoo. Aoe clear from shaman of course.
When i play a more controlly deck, I get run over by the thunder buff.
When i play this deck myself i have pretty much like a 20% win rates in 10 games.
I dont know what i am doing wrong really?
I lost many tempo games once i cleared the enemies board, just because i dont draw thunder buff later on. Is the case I think why i am losing.
V.s hunter, yes i lost to 6 hunters. Only 3 of them play COTW on turn 8 and then play it again on turn 9. That's pretty lucky however even in games that dont happens. I still lose, I dont know how to win anymore in this meta. I either lose to this deck so hard, and when i decide to join and play it myself. I just can't win. It's really frustrating please help :( I am never lucky, however like the hunter example I gave. I still can't win even if enemies isn't always lucky. SOS
just lost to another druid who turn 1 violet teacher, turn 2 4/6 teacher 2 2/2 students. welp I am struggling so hard. Any tips? I know that druid is just lucky. However, I am losing to every matchup at this point. Sigh///getting depressed
Why did you call it "spell shaman"? It's literally a normal midrange shaman with 3 different cards.

Replacement for tuskarr post-nerf?
Personally, I am adding Kvaldir Raider, 5 mana 4/4 Inspire Gain +2/+2
+2/+2 when you summon a totem? Why is this card not in more Shaman decks? You combo with a totem on Turn 7 and it becomes a 6/6 plus whatever totem you summoned.
replace 3 drop with 5 drop was bad idea.
maybe Earthen Ring Farseer or Argent Horserider. but i think tuskarr are still ok
because it is only good if you can get at least 2 inspires of. 5 mana 4/4 vanilla is pretty bad, so you can't play it before turn 7. A 7 mana 6/6 isn't that good either and opponent tends to remove it straight away. It also doesn't synergize with totems or anything else in the deck.
Idk if this dragon priest that's flooding the ladder is supposed to be a counter to this decktype, but... it's not very effective lol. 6-0 against them.
I got 13/12 with this deck....
To be fair though, this is the beginning of the season, so it might be a lot better later on.
For some reason, my opponents try to ignore mana totem many times, so I removed both Azure drakes and Barnes, and added two Flamewreathed Faceless and a Fire elemental. I now got 10/5 wins.
According to me, this deck lacks firepower, since many classes have removals for four big minions. Now they have to choose between mana totem, thunder bluff valiant, flamewreathed, things from below and fire elemental, and we still have some firepower left. If you want Azure Drakes fine, but you should really change Barnes into either Flamewreathed or a Fire Elemental, it makes a huge difference.
Amazing list! The lower curve and draw machanics ensure you keep board pressure. On last day of seaaon, went from rank 8 to rank 5 with only 2 losses!
Yes I agree. I've been beating the other midrange shaman list 100% with the added pressure. By the time they play the fire elemental its to late to pressure me. And also they run less amounts of aoe. Loving the deck so far.
After the nerf, should I replace Tuskarr Totemic or is it still good enough?
and if so, what would you replace it with?
Idk if it will still be good enough, but I don't see a problem with upping the curve and replacing them with 2x Fire Elementals.
Should still work since now we'll have higher chances for the Spell Damage totem which powers up the spells in this deck & Spirit Claws... but we'll just have to wait to find out... won't be long now
