Not first time legend, but first time legend with Priest.
After a period of trial and error I came to this version of Resurrect Priest. It seemed superior to any other Priest deck I had ever played, so I played it straight from rank 7 to legend with a 69% win rate.
Mulligan Guide
Always keep Injured Blademaster, Auchenai Soulpriest and Priest of the Feast.
If you have any of the above, also keep Resurrect.
If you have Auchenai, also keep Circle of Healing.
If you have Circle, also keep Embrace the Shadow.
Keep Excavated Evil against Shaman, Mage and Warlock.
Shadow Word: Pain:
Always keep it against Shaman, Mage, Warlock, Hunter and Warrior.
Against Druid and Priest keep it only if you already have a good hand.
Never keep it against Rogue and Paladin.
Replays
Resurrect Priest vs Beast Druid
Resurrect Priest vs Dragon Warrior
Resurrect Priest vs Midrange Shaman
Resurrect Priest vs Spelldruid
Resurrect Priest vs Secret Hunter
Resurrect Priest vs Midrange Hunter
Resurrect Priest vs Spelldruid
...and only one other Priest, but 29 Shamans (every 3rd game).
One issue I have with your strategy is your advice on when to keep Shadow Word: Pain vs. Druids. Your advice is to only keep it when you have a 3-4 mana drop and a resurrect. I've been burned by druids with Fandral too many times so I'm more conservative on this. Against druids I always keep one. Perhaps a large sample size of games against druids would reveal this to be the inferior play, but as in my most recent game, sometimes it pays off...
My Turn 1: Pass
Druid turn 1: Innervate + Coin + Fandral Staghelm
My turn 2: Shadow Word: Pain on Fandral
Druid concedes.

Any room for Yogg in this?
So gave the deck another try for another 2hours. Lost all games and dropped 2 ranks overall. I officially give up on this deck. I wish you guys luck whoever tries the deck. Hope you have better luck than I did. You are going to need it. I really wanted this deck to work for me. I should of learned my lesson when I tried Rez priest when kharazan first came out. This 2nd time around confirms what I have learned about Rez priest decks. They are not that good unless you tend to have consistent good luck. Maybe next expansion
If you are trying to rank with this deck you will be disappointed. Sure original poster got legend with this deck but this deck is very greedy. Turn after turn you will get ran over by aggro as you curse the greedy cards you draw instead of what you need. . No stranger to this game and I know I try to mulligan my starting hand for what I need. It's bad enough aggro decks and rng is rough to deal with but to also constantly get greedy cards instead of what you need is enough to really drive you crazy.
Wish I could try this deck, but search for a replace to Sylvanas and Ragnaros is kinda hard.
I love Justicar and I tried to make her work, but she's just not good enough in this deck, a bit like a black sheep among all the good Resurrect targets. Embrace the Shadow is not replaceable.
Don't have 2nd Bog Creeper, so replaced with Sunwalker.
5-0 so far. Great deck.
feel like you have to have godly luck for this deck to work, always seemed like I was 1 card short of what I needed no matter what the situation. back to my old res priest set up.
Only 33% shaman? You got off easy then.
Definitely tougher to get the deck working but it is truly lovely when you are playing against an Aggro Shaman and he just concedes when seeing the Priest of the Feast! VOD Resurrect Priest Rank 3 ^^
Your winrate looks great great and on par with some of the Tier 1 decks at the moment. What do you think about Yogg-Saron? Nice comeback card and a hand refiller, the deck plays a ton of spells!

Nice video. Sadly I didn't record any of my own, but you can find me on Cipher's stream (at 01:37:50): https://www.twitch.tv/cipherhs/v/90395902
Whenever I played with Yogg, my win rate dropped, but I'm not entirely sure why.
I tried Soggoth the slitherer instead og one bog creeper, thought it makes sense, waht you think?
much better, but this looks like a semi budget deck so he probably considered that with not putting him in, and bog creeper is ofcourse cheaper in mana
It makes no sense to me. You can heal Bog Creeper, but you can't heal Soggoth.
i see youre point. Though, he cant be targeted by opponents spells either which means -no execute/shieldslam- no hex- no sap- no swipe/wrath/mulch- or other hard removal. My experience after testing him for a while is that the opponent throws out his AOE to take care of him which can be a good source for mindgames :D Also you can actually heal him alot with darkshire cultist and circle of healing, making him even more of a pimpel in youre opponents face :P Thank you for the deck though, very well designed. However, how do you beat the hunters? they always seem to be a few damage too fast for me. Thank you! :)
The only card I am missing is Embrace the Shadow. Would Forbidden Shaping be a good replacement?
I replaced it with Shadow Madness
Embrace the Shadow is an anti-aggro card. Forbidden Shaping is an anti-control card. If you replace Embrace the Shadow with Forbidden Shaping you'll be considerably weaker against aggro. Shadow Madness might diminish this problem, but I don't think it's ideal. In my opinion Embrace the Shadow is not replaceable.
I agree, eveytime i use Shadow Madness it is typically a weak but necessary play. I'm saving to craft Embrace.
