Hey guys!

my name is behemoth, and i play on the european server. i really enjoy making my own decks, and my favorite has been reno decks since he was released with LoE. I've been really insipred lately by my favorite streamer, Bryan Kibler. he made a Reno-Yogg mage deck, which really got me into building reno decks again. This deck is inspired by his deck, in some degree. if you enjoy this deck, i would really appreciate it if you gave this deck an upvote!

 

 

Win condition

Obviously, the win condition is the same as in every Reno deck, to outlast your opponent. However, this deck is a bit more aggresive than other Reno decks. you have to focus much more on controlling the board.

 

Tech cards

since this is a Reno deck, almost every card is considered a tech card. however, i considere some cards in this deck as tech cards as they are neither found in normal Reno decks nor normal Shaman decks. the most important of those cards are:

Eternal Sentinel, Elemental destruction & Hallazeal the ascended

these 3 cards work together. you can either use ED followed by Sentinel on turn 5 or later for a full board clear (most times), or ypu can wait until turn ten for the same, but with a Reno-like effect with Hallazeal

 

Abomination

this card was not in my original decklist, but i added it pretty quickly, as i kept on facing zoolocks and aggro shamans. Abomination prevents them from building their board before they have dealt with it, and therefore, gives you more turns to draw Reno. this Card have won me so many games, it's insane!

 

Stampeding Kodo

kind of the same reason as abomination. Kodo works extremly well for removing big threaths, such as flametounge totems, Darkshire councilman, etc.

 

Mulligan

Always keep:

Reno Jackson, Tunnel Trogg, Totem Golem, Rockbiter Weapon(or lightning bolt)

 

If you have on or two of above:

Feral Spirit, Flamewreathed Faceless (with coin), Tuscarr Totemic

 

Against Hunter, Warlock and Shaman:

Mind Control Tech, Lightning Storm, Acidic Swamp Ooze (not Warlock), Stormcrack (not Hunter), Abomination, Cult Apotechary
