Zetalot is one of the few Professional priest players and his amazing priest decks brought him to legend in last 2 seasons. You can see his old deck on my account, he was legend 482 with that, and now 168 with Shadowform deck.
Shadowform is extremely useful in so many situations especially in late game.
You can watch his stream here: http://www.twitch.tv/zetalot
Good Luck!
This deck's finishers.. are ridiculous. I dropped one power world shield, in exchange for Thalno's (+1 spell dmg / draw / costs 1 mana) mage.
I feel shadowform is just too slow of a card whether the deck is well-constructed or not. Playing against I use that free turn to build early-game presence. Playing as, I find landing the mulligan to be unreliable and landing it on an even turn is awkward and late-game is a bad option compared to other removal/minion play options. Maybe it's just the johns, being salty for having bad luck, but I really feel shadowform isn't fast enough and is redundant with the soulpriests. The lack of control mechanisms and susceptibility to silence really makes this deck feel like a rush deck that can't rush with the presence of mind blast and Velen to buff 'em. Maybe I'm missing the point, but the lack of convincing board presence and the slowness of shadowform doesn't do it for me.
Never keep Shadowform in the mulligan. It's a mid- to late-game card. The fact that it's slow is why he only runs 1 when he chooses to run any.
I am actually a big fan of this deck, first time i've ever been inclined to ladder as priest, but something about this deck drew me to try it.(had to sub out a few things, cuz i don't have velen or cabal, so put in rag and violet teacher respectively) A couple questions i have though, 1. in general is holy best saved for end game burst, or is it okay to use for removal? 2. Against druids i seem to having a bit of trouble with all their 4 attack druid of the claws 3. Should i play azure drake as soon as i get it to have a body on the board for pressure and draw or should i wait to play and combo with some spells? If you do read this, thanks again for the time and the fun deck
Definitely going to be trying this deck. Been looking for a solid shadow form of Priest...I fiend the traditional priest to be super boring
