You have to control the board early but you need to be greedy with your rockbiters (try not to use them unless you really need to).
You can win by just having board control like any normal shaman would, but with this deck , if things are looking bad and you have a Leeroy Jenkins + Rockbiter + Windfury combo you can one shot your opponent and win where you otherwise would have lost.
I will explain some of the card choices i made:
- Lava Burst Great removal card but also good when you need that extra damage for a finisher
- Windfury This card has won me many many games, have a fire elemental on the board? Great, give it a rockbiter + windfury and you have 18 damage for 3 mana.
- Doomhammer Just amazing finisher with rockbiter or for steady pressure on face
- Leeroy Jenkins Great to combine with Windfury + rockbiter for finisher

Yo Link, I've been playing your deck a lot on ladder, it's pretty good man, but I gotta disagree with your recent changes to it. 2 pyromancers and 2 yetis is too much, it makes the mana curve kind of awkward, because you have less mana to spam totems, and less 1 drops to round turns out. I took out 1 of each and put 2 argent squires back in. It's the only decent play on turn 1 unless they played a minion. Try it out man, it's worked really well for me. I'm only rank 9 right now, but I'm 27-11 with your deck in ranked this season so far. Keep up the good work.
The only card draw in this deck are Azure Drakes. I suggest replacing Blood Knight with an Acolyte of Pain.

I didn't have the bloodmage thalmos so I used a loot hoarder instead. I played all day today (last day of the season lol) from rank 6 using hearthstonetracker and over 14 hours of playtime and 145 games. I have a 59% winrate and final record was 86-59.I lost the 5 star rank 1 game 8 times before I finally won it. One of those losses at 5 stars was to chanman himself, who I almost beat but he used iceblock very early so the burst didn't kill him. He alexstraza'd me on turn 9 and double fireball double ice lance me on turn 10 lol
Faced a lot of "pro" players including DuckWingFACE and other high legends so my Rank 1 journey was pretty rough lol the deck does very bad if you end up topdecking and start drawing argent squires and or a dead windfury or something. I lost plenty of gamesb ecause of that but the leeroy windfury combo is too good to not run the 1 windfury. Control warrior was by far the worst matchup for the deck, too many big legendaries with all that armor and weapon for board control to deal with, the only way I beat them was if I got a perfect hand and killed them turn 6 with leeroy windfury. I did beat one by fatigue but he only ran black knight, grommash, and baron geddon as opposed to the entire array of legendaries they usually have lol
Vs handlock just got to rush them before they get a huge board, usually mull'd for hex and earth shocks for giatns and twilight drakes. Except turn 4 mountain giant or turn 4 drake almost 100% of the time
Vs Zoo or rush paladin or any rush deck really, just mull'd for lightning storm and feral spirits, usually if you get none of them you lose and if you get 2-4 of them you should win (unless they get a perfect hand and can play around it themselves then you probably screwed)Vs miracle rogue you just have to rush them and kill them before they leeroy combo you instead. This deck is very strong against miracle rogue because your leeroy combo is availabe before theirs is and there is a lot of direct damage in this deck.
When playing the deck it is very important to keep counting your damage. I missed lethal a few times when I first started playing the deck because I didn't check how much damage I had and usually would lose after that because of various reasons. Keep tabs on your spell damage on board because those +1 and +2s on lightning bolts and lava burst sis pretty important

Its feels really good to finally take down handlocks/miracle rogues, nice deck sir.
1-4 with this deck so far. I was 8-2 with the other shaman deck I was using. Its very open to any combo from any deck. Its super Reliant on drawing specific cards in certain match-ups and has no card draw. I played vs Zoo- Waited til He loaded board with 4-5 minons played Lighting and next turn he played 4 more minions and I had no answer and my only answer was 3/25 cards with either lighting or feral spirit .
Also Played vs a Warrior and I couldnt get enough damage in early and he turn 9 Alex and I had nothng in my hand from trying to get him low and Turn 10 had the hellscream combo to finsih me.

that was the other one i was running and left I had more answers for any situation. Wild Pryomorcer for another board wipe that didnt overload me. Mana Tide for Card Draw - Alex to get priests/Warrior Control Decks low on turn 9. Caine to have peer board presence stable etc. Felt like The answers were more. This deck is nice but if you are off one card most of the time it means its over for you and have no other answers.
I like the Argent Commanders vs Argent Squires too. Most of time the Squires at most get 1-2 dmg in and die. Considering this deck is run a lot on overloading and trying to brust through the enemy pulling a squire turn 5-6 doesnt seem to advance the board and stuck with most likely a 1/1 Divine Shield and random totem.--- Just played a game where I needed taunts or some form or quick large removal and I draw into Squire-> Drop Drake and draw into second Squire ... Just doesnt give you any answer other than maybe turn1/2s but after turn4-5 its just a dead drop card.
Sorry to hear that, but u might have been unlucky or simply do not know how to play this deck because it has a different playstyle then normal shaman decks.

I am now like 1-7 vs Zoo. I see no mention of how to play vs Zoo. I am wondering how you play this matchup?
Ovbi Try to Mulligan for Lighting Storms but I just have terrible RNG most games and never get 1. I tried putting In forked Lighting but never draw that either. I never Draw or Mulligan into Blood Knight but most of the time I lose it would not help anyways since im staring at voidwalkers-dire wolf alphas and knife juggler and not argent squires. I feel like im always praying for either taunt totems or lighting storm so I can survive because outside that im overloading for 2 on turn 3 to play lava brust to try ease the pain a bit. Even if I get a Feral Spirit out turn 3 - at least 50-60% of the time they have already dumped there hand by turn 4 and can soulfire one for free and then just have a dire wolf alpha combo dmg minon knock off the other one and i go into turn 4 overloaded by 2 hitting totem praying for taunt. Doomhammer has been in my hands a few times but by turn 5 im so low that im having to play around doomguards and cant take minons out with my face. Even Worst now is that the Zoo Players know I have lighting storm so they will fill the board up just enough to play around it but enough to keep me pressured for 5-6dmg a turn and so after I lighting storm they can freely dump the rest of there hand assuming theres about a 20% chance i would have the 2nd lighting storm .
Good deck but i only got one question. How u manage with draw power of this deck when u are running only 2 Azure Drakes? Tryed it out and like 8/10 times i was on turn 7-8 with like 1 card in my hand and enemy had like 4-5 cards.
Only thing I would suggest for rag would be a drake..rags really slow in this deck plus rng face dmg =/
Rag does not fit in this deck,it will make it worse even,because you can not use Windfury on it.
You gonna finish the subguide for each matchup? Priests seem to be what I am mainly losing too lol just went from 20 to 12 without any losses (woot) then 2 losses to priests
Thoughts on subbing in a forked lightning or 2 somewhere due the rampant infestation of zoo?
The deck has +80% winrate against zoo without it, so it would be overkill.
I'm experiencing about a 60% win rate. unless I have a really strong opener, I get overwhelmed pretty quickly. Especially given how few card draws there are. If I don't have solid board control at turn 4, I've already lost. Argus starts coming out, followed by Doomguard. Most of my wins against zoo locks come from an early BK.
Hey, the harvest golem to mana tide was a mistake and i reverted it immediately.
I want to keep this deck good for the 25-1 ranks and mana tide is terrible in those ranks because of zoo.
