This is a control shaman that was refined especially with cards like Hallazeal the Ascended, as well as a knew weapon, Hammer of Twilight

This deck is mainly to outlast your opponent with lots of healing and board clears. If your opponent has a slow deck, you can even dominate the board with things like Flamewreathed FacelessMaster of Evolution and even Fire Elemental for a strong body and decent removal.

The best card to get in your starting hand is Stormforged Axe to deal with early minions, similar to Fiery War Axe. Against Shaman and Priest it is also a good idea to keep Rockbiter Weapon to kill Northshire Cleric and Tunnel Trogg. Against a very popular deck, Zoolock, Lightning Storm is very good for destroying most of their minions after they empty their hand

For card draw, there is Ancestral Knowledge which is recommended to be played later in the game or whenever you can afford the overload. Acolyte of Pain is a very popular card draw, but can be replaced with something like manatide totem. Jeweled Scarab is very good with Shaman, as Shaman has the strongest 3-cost cards and can give you another card as well. However, because this is a control deck and you don't play many cards, your hand usually remains at a decent size.

Lightning Storm and Elemental Destruction are very good board clears and you can use Eternal Sentinal to undo the overload, especially after using Elemental DestructionHallazeal the Ascended takes a very important role in this deck. Each damage a board clear does is health restored to your hero. A very good detail to notice is that Hallazeal the Ascended doesn't die to elemental destruction without spell damage.

Charged Hammer is very good for a control deck. 2 damage might not be much, but it is very flexible. 2 damage is very easy to have in this deck with the replaced hero power as well as the 4 charges on Charged Hammer and 3 charges on Stormforged AxeHammer of Twilight is very good because many minions have 4 or less health and the minion it summons can also contest some of the minions your opponent plays.

Elise Starseeker and the Golden Monkey are your win condition if you have not already killed your opponent by taking care of their minions and having a semi-heavy board. In some match-ups, Acolyte of Pain and other cards that are worse late game can be turned into legendaries and you can crush your opponent with them.
