Did your opponent just leave your Raging Worgen alive? Looks like he lost the game!
This deck has absurd synergy! With the right mulligans you can put up a new deadly thread on the board every turn. My very first game I won on turn 6 with a 10/5 Frothing Berserker!
The card draw is the most critical part of this deck. Try and get at least two cards out of battle rage and cross your fingers to draw into your Acolyte of Pains. Sometimes you might need to play conservatively, but the deck is pretty good for keeping a card or two in hand.
Most games come down to total RNG, usually depending on yours and your opponent's draw. Getting lucky with this deck makes for some truly epic and fun games! I wouldn't try getting too far in ranked, but it's a spectacular deck for casuals and a great secret weapon to use against your friends.
Mulligan Suggestions:
I mulligan every spell right away, including inner rage and whirlwind. The worst thing to happen with this deck is to have four spells in your hand and no minions to combo with.
Advantages:
- Every card in the deck receives charge from Warsong Commander (except Gadgetzan Auctioneer).
- Huge burst potential on every turn
- Very fun to play, and legit
Disadvantages:
- If this deck looses board control in the early game it's dead
- You can get screwed on your draws
Changelist:
- Removed 1x Emperor Cobra and 1x Gurubashi Berserker as well as 1x Raging Worgen so that I could add in more weapons (2x Fiery War Axe) and Grommash Hellscream for a finisher and more board control. Basically all emperor cobra, gurubashi and worgen did was create an unhealthy dependence on Warsong Commander
- Removed 2x Abusive Sergeant and replace it with 2x Whirlwind for the frothing berserker burst.
- Removed 1x Defender of Argus and 1x Slam to add 2x Gurubashi Berserker. I forgot about gurubashi when I made this deck originally.
- Removed 2x Master Swordsmith and replaced it with 2x Fiery War Axe. Lots of people were saying that they were using weapons to compensate for a lack of early game and the more consistency the better!
- Removed 1x Shieldbearer and 1x Fiery War Axe to add 2x Gadgetzan Auctioneer. The Gadgetzan helps cycle the deck and get more draws which is super important.
- Removed 1x Fiery War Axe and 1x Rampage for 2x Death's Bite which has more synergies and more removal power. Rampage has the issue of being a dead card throughout most of the game but its combo power still makes it worthy of being in the deck.
Great deck, I am 2 for 2 thus far!!
Last game against a Hunter (Won on turn 5):
Had a Raging Worgen on board, drew a Rampage, put on Inner Rage and Rampage on him: 18 Direct Damage to the face!
This is a really fun warrior enrage deck! I've tried others, and while not exactly "ladder viable" (you'll have to be lucky to get a 50% win rate even) this is the most fun to play. Unlike the others, I don't have a problem with card draw here.
Don't be mistaken though, this deck is pretty much useless against competent players. This should be considered a fun gimmick deck only. If you hate to lose, steer clear. If you're bored climbing the ladder facerolling zoo, then give it a try. You WILL go backwards in rank though, if that matters to you.
Sometimes they use cheap units with TAUNT. This often makes the deck really weak, especially if you can't draw a friggin weapon.
This makes me wanna smash my monitor.
As you mentioned, RNG is really what it comes down to and I'm ok with that... The deck is really fun... sometimes you just know it's not going to be pretty but then there are those games where the cards are coming out in an order you might as well have hand picked because you end up pulling off hilarious and very satisfying combos :D
I see the concepts in this and a cool idea, however your gonna have a few issues with draw. Your pretty much limited to Battle rage and AOP, this isnt bad but again with out a great opening hand your gonna have issues....But love the concept. You may want to drop the Gurubashi Berserker for what I have no idea.
I actually really like the Gurubashi Berserker in this deck. It gives you more burst potential and it usually survives.
They are not really burst less you IR then Rampage it for some sick value but this can easily be countered before it ever happens. I mean KODO KILLS IT. Arcane Golem on the other hand would give you 9 damage with IR+ Rampage. It has possibilities but you may need to invest in some simple loot hoarders.
Did you watch the video? Warsong Commander + Gurubashi + Inner Rage
I get that but thats turn 8 for 7 vs 7 for 9
I personally dropped 1x Emperor Cobra for a second Commanding Shout That card gives a bit more card draw, and combos so well with Raging Worgen. Last game I played, shamman played an Earth Elemental. I had 1 Raging Worgen on the board, so a quick Commanding Shout + Inner Rage + Rampage Made for a quick dead Earth Elemental + 9 face damage.
Like others are saying, it's not consistent enough for competitive play, but super fun when it works without being as weak as the Divine Spirit/Inner Fire Priest.
A great fun deck for casual, not too competitive however.
My very first try and faced a zoolock.... Terrible match up.
2nd game: demon-zoolock..another terrible match up..mb my initial hand sux hard...
3rd game: very very cheap paladin deck with only as i see Sword of Justice... crushed me... Still RNG i guess.
4th game: cheaper paladin deck with lots of cheap miinons also crushed me. This time i had full of low cost minions.. Still RNG..
This deck is very dependent on its draws. I've beaten all of the decks you've mentioned above before, but it's not easy.
Now all i face is lock decks...murlocks, zoolocks and rarely control priests..nothing else.and it really drives me insane..
Just played against a zoo deck with this deck and crushed it within a few turns. So badly that I felt a tad guilty.
nice deck i crush them to rank 10 :D
This is the greatest thing i have ever seen. just did 24 dmg with a 3 mana minion
Edit : Struggling to keep minions on board ;(
Yeah it's pretty random like that. Some games are epic as hell and others you just lose board control and get roflstomped
I highly recommend adding a Wild Pyromancer to this deck, works insanely good with all combos.
Awesome Idea, ( New player here ) Wish i had dust to be able to gather more cards.. I Swapped out a cobra for the Boss card... can't remember the name of it :$
